Another question is..can i include my husband in my application? .. we got married after application was sent to CIO. if i ever receive an AOR can i include my husband in my application when i submit my documents to the local visa office? we already started completing his documents.. Please Saki..mitali...and seniors...need your opinion on this.  tnxx |

Hurray......
I got my 1st approval, 5 minutes back.
My DD was encashed 22 Jun 2010, Approval 12 July 2010.
Thanks All specialy Saki who supported morally and keep me in rest throughout 4 months period, Saki your all calculation is 100% correct you are like football Octopus.

Great Congrutulaton to u. i appreciate ur passion which u showed during this time. i have been observing ur case for last 4 months bcz i applied on 20th March and u applied on 19 March my application was returned on 10th may due to missing coulmn nd then i re-applied on 12th May and still waiting....... wish u all the best for ur next step. |

Dear Mitali/Saki
my question is regarding attestation of documents like Nikahnama and birth certificate.its in Urdu .can i do english translation from Kuwait and take with me to Pakistan and notarize .will this be enough ?or some attestation required ?original attested from foreign affairs of Pakistan.
In Birth Certificate my wife name last character is different than what they wrote in all documents like how we can write AHMAD and some wrote AHMED.is there any problem or i better correct ?
HI Jamy, Translate your nikahnama and birth certificate into english and if you can then get the translation of nikahnama attest from Forgein Affairs in Pakistan as this will show that you are legally married and nothing is fake, i attested mine from foreigh affairs as well. Yesterday i made a call to CIO and asked that what is the staus of my application, on the other side it was Mr.Davis he replied me that it will take more 3 or 4 weeks. These days they r working on 21st April cases. So Saki INSHALLAH u will get ur first AOR in this week. i have the best wishes 4 u. my application was received on 18th May 2010.

i have two questions kindly help me in this
1 for bank statement i requested my father to put amount in my salary account
same was done by him the money was transfered on 8th of july 2010 will this statement
work as my previous statements shows only salary transictions. will it be better to get an
affidavit from father stating that he is giving amount for my sattlement in canada and he
will not ask this money back.
2. do i have to attest degrees only or i have to attest transcripts also from HEC further more i
come to know that we have to attest oridgnal (and photocopies) degrees first from HEC
then from Foreign Office, afterwords photocopies are required to be notrized is it true

Hi, About the statment i would say get the money in the account and instead of showing the full statement just show the current balance statement and if visa officer ask you to provide statement at the medical time then show the statement and tell them its a gift from father which you are not liable to pay back.
