Hello All,
I have also received AOR today on email around 5 hrs ago. Checked email just now. My Application received date showing on CIC site is 16th April. I have sent DD only but the below content is confusing in the email I received. However when I called yesterday on 16139444000, I was told that it would take 10 weeks i.e. September 1st week to hear the response. So it seems no one can predict anything in the process !

X This correspondence also acknowledges receipt of your payment dated XX Jun 2010 in the amount of XXXX Canadian dollars. Your Payment Receipt No. is XXXXXXXXX . Please keep a copy of this letter for your records and quote this number on all correspondence relating to application fees or refunds.
X This correspondence also acknowledges receipt of your Fee Payment Form (Imm5620) authorizing CIC to take payment of processing fees using the credit card details provided. Please be informed that we processed a payment of XXXX Canadian dollars on this credit card (ending in ABCD). Your receipt number is XXXXXXXX. The two receipt numbers mentioned in above 2 points are different. I am sure that I have not given any credit card details so 2nd point doesn't make sense !! Any idea why 2 receipt numbers ?

Dear Canad PR90, If you paid by DD then only 1st point is checked (X) and they had given you a payment receipt number in the 1st point. So it will help you to eliminate all of your confusion. Thank you with regards Shazzadul |

Quick question-For showing work experience in 0213 category employer gave letter as:
While employed with us he used following skills:
1>responsibility 1
2>responsibility 2
3>responsibility 3
insteading of using the WORD RESPONSIBILITY they used SKILLS.Is that ok?
HI Tukku, What mitali advise is correct. Ask your employer to change a little bit and word is like " His responsiblity our xyz and the skills needed to perform these responsiblities our xyz and he has all skills listed above to perform these tasks. Something like this, so that it shows you have skills to perform your tasks. Cheers Saki |

friends some good news on my side....i got information from bank that my DD enchased on 5th of july. but they were processing april 15th applicants and my application reached on 21st april.
i wanted to double check with bank but feel awkward. i think the information from bank is true and they start to process our application quick.

hello everybody after long time i am updating my information. actually i am having lots of trouble from singapore police clearence. they want some proof from canada immigration to know for what purpose i need it. i cannt understand why cant i get it if i want. i studied and worked there. i tried to convience them a lot.
but now finally i can give them proof i got my AOR da 5th july. i hope now atleast singapore will give me police clearence. good luck to all. my documents reached on 15 of april.
thank you for all friend here for such dedication on keeping this thread alive. i was switched off due to document collectn having lots of problems.

Does the marriage certificate of your father-in -law and his brother mention that they are the parents (like mother and father) of your FIL and uncle or are the names just as witness? As you know that the required document is Birth certificates as proof but I think they might accept MC if there is specific mention as "Mother and Father".
Yes, it is important to show "physical presence" in Canada. Add the information regarding PR or Citizenship status in addition to what you have already acquired.

Thanks Mitali. The marriage certificates indicate that they have the same father and mother. The names of the parents are not mere witnesses but part of the form itself. The marriage certificate actually details both my the husband's and wife;s names, residences, birthdates, fathers name, mothers name, citizenship of parents. Then a certification of marriage and signatures of the couple and witnesses at the bottom. Oh my! It will be impossible for us to secure the birth certificates within the 120 day (now, only 93 days) period to submit the documents. Their birth certificates bear mistakes in their names so we need to reconstitute them. Let me know please. Thanks thanks.  |

I have employment contract but they are not notarized. I try to secure notarized copy from my employer but the copies they have are not notarized too. We plan to send an explanation letter to explain the scenario. Do you have any advice.
