Did upu include your Husband in your application? If yes you need to pay fee for him also. Call CIO and talk to them ASAP.

thanks for all the help... one question arising is if i am to produce my bank certificate showing current balance, then where is does the risk of borrowed money arise from? as this will not show up in the certificate rather only the total balance as of that day will show

Hi Gavi, There wont be any risk of borrowed money as you will only be showing the current balance, however make sure that you have these funds available until your visa is stamped as visa office may ask you to send them 3 months statement at the time of medical so be aware of it. Secondly thats why i said if you are borrowing money then just clear the debt from that money and keep the amount in your account as it is. Cheers Saki |

It looks that process is not moving as their is no information regarding progress of sending AOR.At the same they have started delivering medicals for Dec 2003.It looks that they will ignore pending applicants of 38 categories.It is also the view of experts.Pls post yr views.
If they have started the 2003 applicants then it clearly shows that they are more interested in clearing the back log instead of approving the new applicants applications. I am not sure how many of 2003 applicants received recent updates. Cheers Saki |

Hi Gavi, Please can you check the Checklist of your CHC? Where would you be sending your application to? My answer is based on the Buffalo requirements. I am quoting from the Buffalo checklist: Provide: - Original letters from your bank and other financial instituitions confirming the type and current balances of account you hold.
- copies of monthly bank statements showing deposits and withdrawls for 6 months prior to the submission of your application
Is it same for your CHC regarding POF? or do you just have to produce the statement with "Current balance"?
If you were to follow the checklist it states clearly that you have to show deposit and withdrawl for 6 months and this is the reason I was concerned about the deposit of a big amount. This is where the "risk of borrowed money arises". Also beware that CIC conclusively mentions that the money should not be borrowed. Even though in real life that does not happen .... we do borrow money.
The final desicion is yours..... I can only suggest.

Hi All,
I have tried to check my application online today via CIC website and finally i found my name and a massage saying that my apllication was recieved on 16 April. it seems that they really update the application status every tuesday.
I see it is another positive sign.

Hi Joban99, Hopefully you will be able to resubmit. This time when you apply, attach a separate sheet for your job responsibilities. On the separate sheet, on the top put your name,the Form # and the reason for the attachment for eg., Detailed Job responsibilities. Mention the attachment in your cover letter.
