Hello Saki

If I withdraw the application, then I shall have to apply in 29 list. But I have option in 38 list. Suggest.

Amrit

Hi Narinder,

Assess your situation in this way:  If your NOC or job duties do not fall in the 36 or 29 NOC categories then you can not claim points for the same. And thus you are not obliged to produce any thing (experience letter etc) for the same.

Hope this helps.

Dear Saki (specially) and All

I also need an advice from your experience. I am the principal applicant and have some problems while collecting all documents.

For my first job, I don't have my job contract, however I have my experience letter, salary certificate and job responsibilities letter. Will it be enough?
If you are claiming points for this job, then you will have to collect "current reference letter". If not, then mention the reason why you were not able to produce a Reference letter in a cover letter
For my 2nd Job, I have my job contract as well as all letters (experience, salary, responsibilities) but the problem is my job contract shows a different designation (Network Admin Officer) than my job responsibilities (Lecturer) because when i was offered the job, my employer told that designation on papers will be different due to company finance/budget issues. Now they are not giving me a written statement mentioning that title was different. However they have given me an experience letter with detailed responsibilities as Lecturer (even on experience letter they mentioned that I served as a Lecturer). Should I attach contract copy? Or what do u advise?Mention this (when i was offered the job, my employer told that designation on papers will be different due to company finance/budget issues) in your cover letter as well. Attach your contract copy.
Just so that you know, CIC will assess your "JOB DUTIES and responsibilities" rather than a matching NOC code. So if you can talior your reference letter with strong emphasis on the duties performed as "Lecturer", then you should be fine. CIC go by the wordings as they assess the applications so while preparing the "Job responsibilities" or "reference letter" add in the 'wordings' from the website but in your own words.

We (My spouse and myself) dont have our birth certificates and not able to get those. Should we put other supporting docs like school certificates, passport, Identity Card etc? If you are from India, it is very normal that birth certificates were not available prior to 1969. You can mention that The “Registration of Births and Deaths” Act was effective only in 1969 (Act No. 18 of 1969, India). and go ahead with the school certificates and I believe your passport also has the same DOB which is an additional proof.color=blue]

Thanks a lot in advance

I am sorry in that case. I thought only NOC relevant references would count.

Any one can advice me how to make a Withdrawal form for my application,i have a mistake in the Schedule 1,background in my employment dates and it will contradict with the economic form.

Help please.................................helllllllllllllllllllllllppppppppppppppppppp

Hi Rammoo,

Sorry that you might have to withdraw. Is your NOC in the current list of 29 and are you still eligible under the new rules post 26th June? I would suggest to wait for the AOR from Sydney because right now I do not think they even have you in the sysytem. But you could try to call them. They would ask for your Client ID. Please check pg# 82 for Saki's response regarding how to get Client ID (that is if they have you in the system).

Hi,

If you want to change your NOC you will need to withdraw your application once you received your AOR and then re apply under the another NOC which will take another 2-3 months.

Cheers
Saki

Hi Saki,

Can he not 'add' the NOC code when he sends his documents to VO and explain in a cover letter?

Hi everybody
I have applied for FSW and I paid my application fees through credit card on 6th April 2010.but didn't get any acknowledgment till now and no fees is debited from my credit card.

Hi kulz-syan,

How about joining this thread......you will definitely benefit by monitoring the developements and assess/judge the progress yourself. Currently, 15th April applicants are being assessed. If you can give your details we can add you to the list.

Hi Narinder,

I just went back to check Saki's response to your query and he too feels that "if you are not claiming points then you do not need experience letter".

Guys I just want to make sure that my following understanding is correct:

I do not have to submit any fee to the Visa Office (London) right? The same fee which I sent to CIO would take care of VO right?

Thanks,

Hi Mitali,

No he cant because when CIC assess the application they do it on the basis of the NOC and the job duties mentioned in form, so if he change the NOC when sending the forms to visa office his application will need to be re-assessed by CIC to confirm that he can apply under that NOC.
