thanks saki for including me already.... question.... how come that i seldom see an april applicant whose noc is 3152? it is for nurses. also i noticed that no 3152 has been charged yet... is this just a coincidence or the need for a nurse is no longer a priority? i just hope my eyes just missed them...

I would just say its a coincidence as far as i know their is no priority of certain NOC in NS, Sydney all consider equal and treated on the first come first basis.

Hi my noc is 3152 ,my application was received by CIO last april 6, 2010, got email for docs request last june 14,2010. now busy gathering my documents.

For visa office specific instructions, i noticed they are only requiring certified true copies for my transcripts unlike the old instructions that we should send the originals sealed in university envelopes. for professional certificates they are requiring only copies and not notarized like in the old instructions. please advise what documents really need to be notarized or original or only certified by the school is enough.

EDUCATION/TRAINING/QUALIFICATIONS
For you and your spouse or common-law partner:
• Post-secondary education documents: copies of vocational or technical
certificates or diplomas;
• College or university documents: copies of certification of completion and the
graduation degree, diploma, or certificate issued by the college or university and
the evaluation committee;
• Transcripts: certified true copies of transcripts of all degrees.
• If you are currently in a program of study, provide a letter from the Department
Head advising the date of expected completion of your course work and
expected graduation date;
• Professional qualifications certificates: copies of professional qualifications
certificates. (e.g., Engineer, Accountant, Registered Nurse, Physician, Teacher,
Architect).
Note: Do not submit certificates from routine training courses, certificates of
appreciation or attendance certificates.

hi all

As per confirmation from CIC call center they said that my application was returned on May 12,2010 due to missing date of marriage in the application form. i m worried because i haven't yet received any thing...and i fear that the whole package along withh DD has been lost. Any one please guide what to do and how to trace out my application that was returned on May 12, 2010.

in POF section i wrote one amount but unfortunately i am unable to show this amount at this time because i invest in a busines,still i have in my account a bit more than the minimal eligibility amount e.g 25000 CAD.can you tell me if this could create any problem for me in Visa Office because the amount would not be same as per initial aaplication to NS.
yes i can borrow and keep in my account for a while and can take balance scorecard if this can work ?

Du have a copy of DD..?? if you have it then u may concern ur bank (Where U make DD) about this issue. about my knwledge this is usless to apply for a refund with copy of DD, becuz orignal must be needed and one other issue is that if u make DD in the name of sum organisation ( Like v all have used " seveir general of canada" sum thing lyk this. ) u have make that DD cancled by that organisation for a refund.. on the back side they will stamp and write " NOT NEEDED " then you will be able to get ur cash back. this is really v.long procedure and frustrating too. u may call me for any assistance.

In the first stage you dont need to show the POF just write the minimum amount which immigration required like for two people CAD $13801 ( but do not write less than the amount CIC required). Later in the second stage you will be required to show the statement for the funds, as long as you have minimum amount available thats is fine no matter what figure you write at the first stage. If you can then borrow the amount and put it in your account for atleast a month and then send the current balance statement to the visa office you will be fine.

Hi dream_Can,

What Sameerkhan has said is the best answer. First try to get the cash back from the bank where you made the DD, it was on the name of CIC so no one else can cash it so your money is safe. Secondly it will take you a time to get your money back so instead of waiting just fill your forms again and send it so that you dont loose time. It will be lost some where in the post but dont worry about it you will get your money back just contact your bank about it. There is nothing else CIC can do about it as per their record they have send it to you on 12th May so they wont help you on this anymore. Good Luck and re-send the application ASAP.

Dear Saki ,
this means that simply we need to show current required amount when sending application in 2nd phase, then we can withdraw  amount aafter one or two months?
what is they verify in mid of application processing?
