Dear All,

My details are as under:

NOC : 1111
Doc to CIC, NS : 10th April
Approval from CIC, NS : 26th June
Doc to ND VO : 24th July
2nd AOR by BD VO : 27th July

In the letter received from ND VO, it has been mentioned that you should communicate our office directly if you do not receive any further communication from us within 3 months from the date of submission of documents.

Do this mean that I should contact NDVO if I don't receive any further communication till 1st week of November?

yes dear..

u can inquire about ur application progress, according to the letter u mentioned, u are supposed to receive medical request with in three months, thats why they have told you to remind them if they forgot to send u medical request

so right now write an email, hold it till the end of third month and send it on the 1st day of 4th month.. okkkk

I am a pre-june 2010 applicant.
I sent my full documents to VO, ND on 20th Oct and the same was delivered before 12 noon on 21st Oct.

When can I expect an email ( AOR ) from the visa office and the employer verification ( if.any ) to take place ?

Can the people who have got their maple leaf, please confirm if their verification at work was done ?

I came to know from other Thread that now for Post June 26 Applicant have to wait for 33 week to get AOR

Please could you check the information in your signature... according to it, you received your 1AOR (13 sept 06) a day after you submitted your initial application (12 Sept 06) ??

Hi Maran,

1) 2nd AOR is generally received after 20-25 days (VO-ND)...but it fluctuates;

2) You will receive (generally) 2nd AOR by REGULAR mail. But some people have received 2nd AOR by email as well. So be vigilant for both the scenarios;

3) Employer verification, if conducted, will be after atleast 3 months of you receiving the 2nd AOR;

4) Nobody has received the MAPLE LEAF yet from the list of April applicants. But Manilla VO  is leading the way and one candidate has already done the medicals;

5) Hinnajamal has had a verification at work. You may want to contact her for specific enquiry.

Hi Aran,

Your employer will be contacted (or the person who has given you the reference letter).

Bear in mind verifcation is not done in all cases, only when VO wants to confirm any doubts that he may have. But it is a good idea to inform your employer that he might receive  a call and he (employer) should be able to practically repeat whatever has been mentioned in the reference letter to maintain parity.

Hi Arshad,

Yeah, no way out. But the most important thing here is to retain a copy (many copies), incase you need to apply for a study course in Canada or else where, while your application is in progress. Also remember to notarise them while you still have the originals.

There was an applicant who wanted to apply for a course in Canada, but could not do so as he did not have either the original or the copy of his educational documents.

Dear All,

Why do you say so, In fact I would reproduce from the ND VO the following:-

Gather documents as listed. Check each item on the checklist and attach the checklist to your documents (a paper clip will do). Place all documents in a sealed envelope. Do not send originals unless otherwise stated. Send notarized photocopies of all documents except the police certificates, which must be originals. If your documents are not in English or French, send a notarized (certified) translation with a copy of the originals.


As per this we need to send the PCC, The IELTS results in originals.

Please clearify.
