Hi All, A very strange news...either CIO is telling lies or they have changed some process....like previously when new FSW system introduced in Feb 2008, all prior applicants got stuck....similar situation is i think for all of us specially late April / May / June applicants who submitted their application before 26 June 2010. One of my friend applied under new rules (after 26 June). His application reached CIO on 27th August and his Credit Card Charged on 8th Septemebr (Total just 12 days ) What does it mean? Regards The reason behind this is the 1000CAP for per NOC, they are checking the application quickly so that they fill the 1000 CAP ASAP and then they dont have to check more applications, so what i think is that they have divided the 2 teams one working for pre 26th June and one post 26th June applications. They dont want to keep spending time on the May/June application and at the same time keep receiving more applications they just want to close the 1000CAP as quickly as they can. Cheers Saki

But how does filling up the CAP (1000/NOC or 20,000 applicants, whichever is early) have to do with sending the CC and AOR's to the late April/May/and early June applicants...that is by your understanding that there may be 2 teams working pre and post 26th June? Moreover, the time to fill up the CAP is unknown... we really do not know if it might be soon (most unlikely) or late. If it is late then why hang the pre 26th Jun applicants? Even if they have to fill up the cap the applications should be valid that is a pre screening of the applications probably should be done to shunt them off to get their ticket in the CAP. Lots of theories are going around in the Forum regarding this and unfortunately we can do nothing but to wait and pray. Hoping for the best. Mitali NB: As we have seen in this thread that charging of credit card does not mean a positive evaluation of the application.

Hi Tej, Irrespective of processing times you have to submit any and all travel history that you have.... there is no way out. It does not have a negative effect unless VO finds something suspicious. Mitali

Hello Miltali/Saki,
I had my IELTS - 3 modules today and unfortunately I am not so happy after that.
I have 60 points and need another 7 from IELTS.
Another way is that I have my real sister who got Canada PR (Quebec) and shifted to Montreal in Feb, 2010. Now would I be getting 5 points for her or is there any time limitation after which we get Canada relative points? They have not yet filed any return there. Her husband is working in a factory.
If I get these 5 points, then I will be short by 2 points which I think IELTS result will give.
Please reply me ASAP as I am very tensed and tmrw I have SPEAKING exam.
Thanks you both.

Thanks Mitali. I wish, I get desired/required bands. Thanks for confirmation of relative points, also.

guys,
Could any one answer me on this
I add my wife's aunt as a relative, and i have all the relation ship proof, and her canadian passport as well, and that what was mentioned in the VO Documents Required Check List , nothing more, but i heared that they will ask me about a proof of residency!!! is that a must?
and if yes, i cannot contact her any more, as her mobile number closed and she do not answer her mail.
and if i loose these 5 points i'll be less than 67 points
and if they ignore the relatives point, In this case can they allow me to re do my IELTS exam to increase my points again.
Please guys i need your advise, and to let you know my case
Recieved by CIC April 7th Recieved my 1st AOR July 16th Submit documments to VO August 1st Recieved my 2nd AOR August 29th
And they notice 24 months of proccessing which is too long buti'll wait
Many Thanks

Hey Satnak,
This might sound like an unsolicited response- but I am sure that however bad u think you did, you would at least be getting 2+2+2 for today. From your usual posts in this forum, I can guess that your english is definitely above average. BTW, I took the exam today too and have my speaking test tomm. My centre is Chennai, where are u taking it up? Like Mitali had mentioned, crack the speaking module tomm and grab 4 points. Good luck to u.
Regards

One thing you ve to ensure is to try and get max in speaking module since your NOC 4131 needs to have top communication skills and recently VOs have rejected some apps just because of low IELTS scores with a NOC which needs higher grasp of english.. Good luck... PS: your written english is impressive Thanks Tilakk. I wish your words goes through. I am in Ludhiana, Punjab.
