Finally my docs were received by ND CHC on Aug 12th

I received it through regular mail on friday, my e cas cahnged to received by visa office on tuesday. ND office indicated that if i dont hear from them within 3 months, they asked to contact them.

Hi Hinna,

It is not necessary that the CHC would call workplace current or old. It is completely at the VO's discretion. They are more interested in the NOC related workplace and again to call the employer is VO's choice.

The above quote by me is the Rule for old and New applicants for IELTS. As I did not know if Naaz had taken the test pre 26th Jun, I just mentioned the rule.

According to new rule only L has gone up and is High at 7.5 for 4 points and rest all are at 6.5 to get a high of 4 points.
But the old rule was for all modules at band 7.0 to get 4 points.

So if Naaz was as per old rule, she would get 4points
and if she's with New rule she would get 2 points

I have seen most of the members interested in as who has received their final applications, signed by Bob, Tom,Dick etc,,
Do you think there is any specialty in this segment? or such are only staff of immigration office, and the VO are different from the signatories?

I believe these people who accept the deliveries are just staff of IO.

But if your first language is not english you can get maximum of 8 point only per applicant irrespective of how much you score.Please correct me if i am wrong.

size of the photo is normally known at a photo studio if you mention for Canadian immigration purpose. Anyway the size as stated by VO requirement is as follows

The photos must:
•show a full front view of the person's head and shoulders showing full face centered in the middle of the photograph;
•have a plain white background;
•be identical (black and white or colour) produced from the same untouched negative, or exposed simultaneously by a split-image or multi-lens camera.
The photos must:
•measure between 25 mm and 30 mm (1” and 1 1/5”) from chin to crown;
•have a 35 mm x 45 mm (1 3/8” x 1 3/4”) finished size.


Another Question arisng is do we need to write our name, DOB and sign behind each photo ?

Hi,

On the checklist it does not say that you have to write DOB or sign them but ppl on this forum say write your DOB and Initital, For my london office there is no instructions about it and i am not writing anything on the pictures. Check your visa office checklist i am sure there wont be anything saying sign it or put initials.
