Hi Moataz, I believe all international entries and exits need to be mentioned. so the answer is yes... Because they do cosult the systems installed in airports through relevant agencies and any information missing in your forms may cause raise of an eyebrow... so better to document it. Hello everyone,

Hi maple, Thanks for your input, it is logical, but CIC provided an example on how to fill it and it was for a trip of 6 days only! .. so they expect us to mention all travels which i already did, but travels between my country of residence and country of nationality for short visits is not something material for them (I hope so). Saki , Mitali and goinggoinggone, please comment

Thanks Haral, this will be very exhausting job for me Hi Moataz, People are always travelling in and out of country for a day, couple of weeks or months depending on reasons like business or vacation. As I did some browsing for travel history I found that people who exit from Canada do not have their passports stamped for "Exit date" but when they return they have an "entry date". This is from my own experience... I have all the entry dates but no exit dates. So keeping this in mind I do not think it is very important to be exactly presice in the documentation for Travel history because 1) some countries do not provide exit dates and 2) people may not remember 3) people might have lost their old passport which might have had a lot of travel history. I think the best way to deal with the situation is to make photocopies of all the pages having the entry and exit stamps in your passport and adding it to the pile of your full documents in that way you will give all the evidence that you have regarding your travel history (in and out). You can mention in your cover letter that as an evidence for your Travel History you are attaching all the pages of your passport. As far as making a list... that is going to be tough but if you do not have information then you might as well write NA. You also have to mention Transit countries... too much. Mitali

Hi Moataz,
In continuation of my above post... if you have some travel history which is really for a long time (3 months or so... why 3 months and not 2m...to that I do not have an answer) you could mention them in a separate sheet of paper.
Mitali
Thank you very much Mitali, the situation is I live in Saudi Arabia since 2006 and I am Egyptian, so for example if i went for a small vacation for Egypt for 2 days , i will mention it , then mention that i travelled back to Saudi Arabia and stayed for example for 3 or 4 months which is normal because they know that it is my country of residency !!.. I think the purpose of filling this form is to draw the attention of the visa officer to any unusal trip to a country with no justified interest ( tourism in in Afghanstan for example ! ) but trips between my country of nationality and country of residence is very normal and should not be of any interest ( this is just my logical thinking , may be i am wrong ) but anyhow , lets play it safe as you advised.

Mitali, I just read the form instruction again now, it says " list all your trips you or your family members have taken OUTSIDE your country of origion or of resisence" in the last ten years" ... so no need to mention the travels between two countries , is that the correct interpretation ?

As I understand: Country of origin would be your country. Country of residence would be where you are currently residing. So if you take any trip from the either of the above place to someplace X then that would have to be counted as Travel history. Trip between the origin country and country of residence need not have to be counted. It is my opinion. Mitali

hi saki, thanks for the help, all these are required after they my application gets accepted, and they will specify these checlist rite(PCC,IELTS)...I Hve already sent birht certificates,transcripts(10ht,inter,engienering etc) ? But saki...i m bit worried bcoz my DD is yet 2 be charged...and also how long a bank stmt shud be of ??
thanks again...
Yes you will have to send it in next stage and have a look at the checklist whatever they have asked for it you will need it. Currently they are charging the credit cards of the 1st week of May applicants so you are next in line. Bank statment you can just show the current balance statement but if you hae money in your account from a long period then show it either 3 or 6 months statement. Cheers Saki
