Immigration has mysterious ways of working....maybe this is one of them. Nothing to worry...maybe they forgot to change the date to current.

Thanks for the reply. I really appreciate and value your time.
My university stamped transcripts are sealed but can they serve as original or do I still need to supplement my originals with the university sealed transcripts?
The VO checklist - Buffalo says 'Transcripts: original transcripts of all courses taken must be submitted in university or college sealed envelopes;'
Just sending the sealed university transcripts should be good??

Hi SB, The authenticity of the transcripts is determined by the VO if the envelope is still unopened. So, the docs send by the Univ is as good as originals and they will have the current date of issue. This is the only way that VO can be sanguine that the markshets are genuine. The current date of issue on the marksheet will provide additional information that the applicant had indeed been a part of the said Univ in xx yr and they will check this with the information that was provided by you when you filled up the IMM forms. It does not matter it the Univ had made a copy of your records because they will make a record from their files not from the marksheets that you have provided. The Univ needs a copy of your marksheet to chek the basic details like yr, name etc. Mitali |

I think the CIC takes 40 to 60 days to review the eligibility review. I got my 1AOR after 54 days. It is not a must the CIC email will go to the spam folder... |

Hi Sadika, It takes a max of 2 days for the 'application to be in system'. You should be able to call them and get the status on your application by now. Chek on pg 82 on how to contact CIO. DD takes a little longer to be cleared. No, AOR can come to your regular Inbox as well but since it is a new address from where the mail is being sent the regular Inbox might detect it as Spam and send it to Spam box. I am sure this might have happened with many applicants and thus the suggestion to check the Spam box. Mitali |

Hi As far as I understand a transcript is the document printed out from the University listing your entire degree, mine lists every course I took during my 5 years at university and the separate marks given and the degree I was awarded. A University document would be your official degree CERTIFICATE which just states for example LLB (Hons) and the year. |

Hi priyanka, Kat-b is correct. College-University degree/diploma/certificate is something which is issued at the end of your course... which proves the successful completion of your course. This is required because sometime Degree is withheld by the Univ because the candidate has not paid the fees in full. Transcripts is same as marksheets. It can be 1 or couple of them representing completion of each year. You have to provide them in a sealed envelope from the University for authenticity. Mitali |
