Hi Saki/Mitali
In checklist it says up to date reference letter from employers. As based on my previous experience.
I have got experience letter 3 years old (when I left that job), do I need to get it again with today's issue date.
and currently I am working as a customer service in supermarket do I need to get letter for that as well which shows my status till date.
I have applied as Chef based upon my previous experience and studies, I have mentioned my customer sevice in history background,
Do I need to get both employment letters or just one related to my NOC

Hi Sukh420, I feel very weird writing 420 along with your name. Anyways, Recent Reference letter for the related NOC code is must. Also for the current job. If you could provide recent reference letters for your old jobs then its perfect otherwise just mention why you could not get it and send the 3yr old ref letter. Mitali |

Hello Mitali,
My husband was in UK on Student Visa from Oct 2001 - Sep 2003. He never stayed there for 6 months cont. I am waiting for my 1st AOR. My file reached at CIO on April 28, 2010.
Do we need to get PCC from UK also after 1st AOR? Do you think 4131 applicants will be treated differently or 4131 cases may be delayed?

Hi Friends!!
congrats to everyone who got their AoR and best of luck to others for their AoR.
I am in process of preparing my docs to be sent to CHC, ND.
I need your guidance and help related to reporting of changes in application (after application sent to CIO, Nova Scotia).
I had sent my application for PR (FSW1) to CIO, canada in April-2010. I got an email from CIO asking me to submitted complete application to CHC, New Delhi within 120 days.
There are below changes in application after application was sent (April-2010) to CIO, Canada.
1) New Employer (Job change)
2) New renewed passport for Principal Applicant
I will mention these changes in the cover letter. Also, will attach the notarized copies of new passport and new employer documents.
Query
1) Do I need to update PR application [IMM 0008] with new occupation and new passport details?
2) Do I need to update Schedule1-Background declaration [IMM 0008 SCHEDULE 1] with new occupation details (Designation, start date, End dates)?
3) Do I need to update Schedule3 Economic Classes [IMM 0008 SCHEDULE 3] with new occupation and its responsibilities? If yes then, please note that I will join this employer in first week of August 2010 and providing responsibilities in advance would be difficult. Can I provide job posting of this position?

Hi Mitali, Thanks for your quick response, yes I can provide work experice letter of old experience with todays issue date, but don't have any contracts as CHC wants in checklist, Do you think that I need to provide ref letters in details of my current customer service experience as well which is not related to my NOC, and sorry for 420 actually that was done by my friend who referred me to this site and gave me this ID, Thanks Mitali |

Hi Satnak, If your husband had a student visa for 2yrs (Oct 2001-Sept 2003). That is a 2 yr period. I do not understand when you say that he did not stay there for 6 continuous months. Did he not live there? Did he not avail the student visa? If your husband's residential address was in UK for 2 yrs, then he has to provide PCC from UK. You have to send this UK PCC along with your documents within the 120days to VO. Whether 4131 cases to treated differently or delayed is a difficult question to answer as we can not determine what is actually going on with Immigration. But the fact is - 4131 and all other deleted NOC from the 38 list are at risk as these professions are surplus in Canada right now. So the best you can do is to strengthen your application as much as possible. Support your application with as much as supporting documents possible and dont miss your 120day deadline. Mitali |

I have my appointment letter, experience certifictae (dated in July 2006), bank statmnent 2002 - 2006 showing my salary coming in bank. Hi Manoj, 1. Yes 2. Yes 3. Yes If you are sending your application after 1st week of Aug then definitely you have to update. I am sure your New job is in the category of Skill level O, A or B. Even if your job will be less than 1yr, you need to update it. The job posting will have the Job responsibilities....you can add them on your Application. Can you get a letter from your employer stating that you have recently joined with xx salary xx job responsibilities etc etc. Also attach company business card for VO to contact your new employer. i would like to say that i filled my application on 12th May and received by CIO on 18th May 2010. on my application i have mentioned 2 NOC from 2003 to 2007 as Network Administrator NOC 2281 pre feb to gain the point for experience and 4131 as College Instructor from 2007 to todate. one thing remains to be mentioned that my previous application is also in process since Nov 2006 with NOC 2281. my question is this 4131 is in the list and 2281 is non-listed. so my applicaion will b ok or there will be a problem with 2 NOC?

My ques.-
Will the VO Consider an Improved IELTS TRF
sent on Sept. 7th ?
Need ur views on it.

Thanks for your quick response, yes I can provide work experice letter of old experience with todays issue date,
but don't have any contracts as CHC wants in checklist,
Do you think that I need to provide ref letters in details of my current customer service experience as well which is not related to my NOC, and sorry for 420 actually that was done by my friend who referred me to this site and gave me this ID,

Hi Sukh, 1.It is not necessary to provide Contracts for old jobs and moreover you are going to get Reference letter from your old employer which will mention all the details of your contract (Like-salary, job description, full time job and benefits etc., add the business card) 2. Not necessary. But if your current job is skill level O,A or B then you should. Mitali |
