Dear All

i have a question regarding Job contract.what if i don't have a job contract? i have experience letter stated my designation,job duration and yearly salary also they mentioned my job duties on it .will this be enough ?

Hi Gavi,

Its not must to send employment contract with your experience letter, if you see they actually only ask for the employment letter which shows the job duties, annual income, and job status full time or part time plus payslips. All the applicants who send further documents like there achievement letter etc etc they are not must but they just put some weight that your job is geniune. In your case you can only send the experience letter no need for the employment contract. But if you want to send the employment contract for the GLS as its already mentioned about it in employment letter then just send an explanation statement stating that you are working with CLS under the GLS residence visa its not a big issue you are working and living legally so dont worry about it.

You will be able to do the medicals from US but if they asks for the interview you will need to go to India and also for visa stamp you wil have to send your passports to India. If you dont have any problem with the processing time then you can apply in US.

What is the present time line of submission of full docs to approval of PR in Delhi and US? Any idea? (Assuming AOR will be available soon followed by docs submission in a few weeks in my case)

Hi Jamy,

Its ok if you dont have job contract. There are applicants who are claiming experience for the job they did 10yrs ago and its really hard to keep the job contact. As your experience letter is showing everything dont worry for the job contract. Also attach the business card of your employer.

See if you apply to ND then you will have to inform them to transfer your file to US but as you are not sending full docs to ND then you need to request CIO about the change of office with a reason why you need to do so.  You will have 120 days to submit full docs either to US or ND. ND is normally taking around 6 months to issue a visa if everything goes fine. About US i am not sure how long but they are definetly taking more time then ND.

Require your guidance... I got my 1st AOR on 20.07.10... Now going to send documents to ND Visa office. Most of my all documents are ready. But i am little bit confused on points for my work experience.

I applied under NOC 9212. I have experience of 3.5 years under NOC 9212 and earlier experience of 3 years under NOC 6221. Till June 10 revised list, NOC 9212 was there in list. As per my understanding from web, to get eligible, only 1 year experience require under listed NOCs, balance you can get points for all your experience.

Can you pl check and guide, whether i will get considereation of points for my both experience of 6.5 years OR only for NOC 9212 of 3.5 years under selection factor of 67 point.

With consideration of both experience, i will be get 69 points otherwise on border of 67 points.

Pl share your views....

ielts is the only valid test they accept, try some other city maybe u get nearest date some other city or see if u have some contacts who can get u a seat in the coming test dates.
