Dear Seniors,

I have sent by documents on the 2nd of February 2010 for the 1st time to the below address :

Citizenship & Immigration Canada
Federal Skilled Worker
Centralized Intake Office
196 George Street
Sydney, NS
B1P 1J3
Canada

and it was returned to me back 1sr of April 2010 due to a missing document . Then i resend back the file on the 15th of April ,but till date i didn't recieve any reply . When i checked for the delay i found that the courier company instead of delivering the docs to B1P 1J3 they deliver it to B1P 1J1.

Is this a wrong address ?

Also ,when i checked with the courier company they said that this is the correct address, and they told me that the documents were delivered to LAHEY CITIZENSHIP & IMMIGRATION.

Again is this a correct address .

Bear in mind also that i checked for the bank draft , and the money is still there no one withdraw the amont

Please advise.

Hi Samer,

We had the same, we were besides ourselves as we didn't know if it had even been delivered to the right place but.......it was, we have a 'application received' on the website and they have encashed our Bank draft.  The courier company delivered ours on the 16th April but everything wasn't showing until the end of last week.  Hopefully you should hear something soon.

Good luck, patience is a virtue i always thought i had in plenty but going through this process teaches me I need a whole lot more!!! lol

Best Wishes,

yvetteyo

Hye Saki, I Applied under Information Systen Manager: 0213" I wrote " CATEGORY MANAGER" which is my job title, will it cause any problem as I think they need to concern with the job descrption rather than job title, Please clearify

Thanks

Hi,

If you job duties matches with the NOC then its fine they are more concern of job duties rather than title.

Hi Guys,

Should your educational qualification match with your Job or not necessarily?

does anyone know about any link on CIC website where it is mentioned about this as someone told me that it is mentioned on canadian CIC or NOC websites...

Please provide the link...

Hi Navali,

Oh no, it is not necessary to have your educational qualification match your job responsibilities. If that were true then people who lost their jobs in recession would not survive....many people had to take up jobs that did not match their qualification.

What needs to match is - Your job responsibilities should match with what is mentioned for your NOC job duties on the CIC website.
