Hello friends as we all are struggling with wait times, i ve mailed to NEW DELHI office regarding our MI-1 cases below is that mail

Hello Sir

I am a FSW applicant under MI-1. As i am aware that CIC had received PR applications more than it could process .So CIC has put that MI-1 applications on hold for certain period and conveyed to applicants that it will take 2 or more years to be finalized. i ve sent my full documents to your office in july 2010 followed by CIO approval . I just want know that after recent changes and visa targets announced by honorable minster ,whether your office will process some MI-1 cases under this new 2012 targets? Please understand i don't want a diplomatic ensurence  its ok if your office will not going process them because its good for me to be in light rather than in dark hope cos we are professionals we have to plan our career and future, like my marriage and my job transfer is on hold (in hope of PR)

So i request you to  please tell me truth whether our cases have stakes in 2012 visa targets or not so that we can plan our life according

I hope you ve understood our situation and will not give me a that typical reply of 2 years or more time

Thanks allot

Guess what they did not answered my query but asked me to furnish my details  cos i ve hired representative so could not provide them my details cos they will talk to my representative ,,,i request you to mail them this kind of query

SECONDLY IF YOU SEE CANADIAN PARLIAMENT WEBSITE ,STANDING COMMITTEE OF IMMIGRATION HAD HOLD MANY MEETING ON BACKLOG AND NEXT IS ON 13TH DECEMBER .ALL WE NEED TO LOBBY IN THAT COMMITTEE BY MAILING OPPOSITION MEMBERS LIKE DON DAVIS and JUSTIFY THEM THAT CONSERVATIVE GOVT IS CLAIMING FALSE CLAIM OF REFORMING IMMIGRATION SYSTEM COS THEY MADE PROMISE IN 2008,2009  BUT NEVER FULFILLED THEM ,WHY mi-1 IS NOT BEING PROCESSED IN ORDER IT WAS RECEIVED ?? IF THEY SAY THAT MI-1 WILL ADDRESS LABOR MARKET NEED AS COMPARED TO mi-2,3 THAT MEANS PRE-2008 BACKLOG WHICH THEY ARE PLANING TO CLEAR WILL ALSO NOT ADDRESS CANADIAN LABOR NEEDS THEN WHY THERE IS DISCRIMINATION WITH MI-1 ON THE NAME OF LABOR MARKET NEEDS???.....................................I REQUEST ALL OF YOU TO PRESENT OUR VERY GENUINE CASE IN FRONT OF COMMITTEE MEMBERS BY SEND WELL DRAFTED EMAILS TO THEM

Hello Sunny,fsw1 and others,

Thanx for sharing valuable information.Sunny,I appreciate ur efffort for giving impetus to the cause of all pre-june2010 applicants.Solidarity shown by  the erudite members is  good enough to infuse life into  the sapping moral of the forum members.
There has been utter confusion as regards " Decision Made prior to MR" in the ecas of  many members  whose  cases were filed  before 26thjune,2010.It has been dicussed threadbare here in the forum. If we go by the defined guidelines of cic,DM FOLLOWS MR which comes up only after  status changes to IP.This does not call for good omen for those who are subjected  to this kind of situation, unless there is any technical glitch.

But,so long as an official communcation is recvd from CHC,NOTHING can be predicted for sure.
So please, let us wait for the same rather than beating about the bush.
Good luck,

Same thing for me.... I am not sure of the rejection thing as it is from last two weeks and still no information

We received your application for permanent residence on April 20, 2010.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on July 14, 2010. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

As per CIC "Decision Made" quote stands for three points

Medical Results Received by CIC
We have received your medical results. We will contact you only if additional tests are needed.

Approval Status Determined
Your application will be either approved or rejected. We will inform you of the decision in writing.

Permanent Residence Status Determined
If your application is approved, we will send you your permanent resident documentation and a letter saying what we need to finalize your permanent residence.

Is there anything else???

Rahul,

When we submitted our application the time to process full application was 8-12 months. Means within 1 year people got visa. Our application was in same time line. The persons applied feb2010-26june, Who got the visa within same time line. No body....If these 3 lines are on their site, its not means they will do same as they written. No one know what is going on there ....So don't concentrate all these things just do your work lets see when they send us medicals...

One more thing, one applicant already got medical after her status DM...

Thanks

Dear friend,
Do think that DECISION  MADE is bug. When Accenture is working with the CIC and CBSA to provide their officers with a comprehensive and consistent view of a client's information by implementing a Global Case Management System.
CIC and CBSA employees provide a full range of citizen and immigration programs—from processing visitor applications to handling requests for permanent residence—at a time of increasing workloads and demands for greater accountability and results.

Accenture Awarded Contract to Help Citizenship and Immigration Canada Develop Global Case Management System

Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) has awarded Accenture a contract to help CIC design, develop and deploy a global case management system that will be used in Canada and at overseas missions to support the management of immigration and citizenship programs.

This first contract, which involves validating the business requirements and developing the high-level system design, is valued at approximately $4.8 million (US$3.1 million).

The new system will replace 14 of CIC's core legacy systems and will include full case histories on individuals and links to related files, making it easier for department employees to access and manage data. The system is also expected to help CIC streamline its operations and facilitate information sharing with key stakeholders.

Each year the CIC processes approximately 1.3 million visitor, citizen, immigrant and sponsorship applications; 320,000 employment and student authorizations; and 40,000 refugee claims, in addition to fielding 4.5 million calls.

"Like other immigration organizations, CIC is striving to improve customer service and adopt customer relationship management practices that are prevalent in the corporate world," said Graeme Gordon, the partner responsible for Accenture's Immigration, Justice and Security practice. "With the new case management system and some reengineered processes, the CIC should be able to operate more efficiently and improve its customer service."

The Accenture team working on the global case management system also includes Microsoft, Siebel and Ajilon, a Canadian professional services supplier with expertise in customer relationship management.
