I just noticed that applications filed from April 15-30, 2009 have been given focus only.  What about those who filed from April 1 -14? Any update on receipt of file numbers? My application was received on April 6, 2009 but until now I have not received any file number. I was asked to submit a notarized copy of my degree certificate as well as my H1 B approval though I have already submitted them on May 28, 2009. My NOC Code is 2112.  Comments, anyone???

Look at March applicants like me. Many of us have waited longer than 4 months but we haven't received file number. Probably March and early April cases are reviewed by the same AINP officers.

I submitted my application on June 27th and received a letter(candidate pre-assessment) with my file number and requesting on document that I missed

Does that mean they are processing my application now? I am confused

Hi kelly,

It is very surprising that you have already got your file number. It usually takes 4 months (or more like my case) just to receive a file number.

And it means that they are processing your application now. But what did the letter say? Did it tell you how long the process is going to take? Do you have a job offer from Alberta employer? (Or I guess I have to ask you this question first: "Are you applying for AINP H1-B SRS?")

Also, if you are applying for AINP H1-B SRS, you can enter your timeline in the AINP SRS-US VISA Timeline Tracking System, which helps us understand how AINP is processing our applications.

And Congratulations!

Hi Jasper

Thank you!
I appied under employer-driven as international graduate. The letter I received was title as Candidate Pre-assesment. It was like a checklist and I missed one of the CIC form. They asked me to send the form. There was my file number(I did not receive any file number before via email) in the letter, my last 4 digital number started with 9***, I am not too sure whether they are processing my application or not, but it would be great if they are. They didn't tell me how long it takes to get my nomination.

Hope everything goes well for you as well. All we can do right now is waiting. Hopefully it worths.

When did you mail you document to AINP? Also we should give AINP employees to work on their pace. At least they are helping with this oppurtunities as compared to USA immigrant offices. I would also be great ful if some one has latest information on AINP nomination file numbers.

Image,

AINP is trying to tap the talent without impacting their current economic condition. All should be fine once the recession eases out.
