Hi,

I am starting to read documents regarding FSW program. I have a couple of questions for which suggestions/directions are greatly appreciated.
I am working in the U.S on H1-b program.

1. Do i file my application at the CIO office in Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada? or a Canadian consulate in the U.S.?
2. I have a baby who is a U.S. citizen and i do want to retain citizenship. If we apply under FSW, I do have to add my baby as a family member and "if approved" what will be the status of my baby? will there be any complications regarding the status if we move to Canada?
3. if in the application process they ask me where I would like to attend an interview? are there options like 1. U.S. 2. [Home country] as I dont know where I will be in the future?

Thanks for your help,

Hi Dr. Hasib,

Thanks for the reply. I am an Indian working in the U.S. so I am contemplating on what should be my visa office.
1. Now lets say that things go fine and in the future, I am called for interview. will they give me a time frame during which I attend the interview or is it a specified date and I have to go to the visa office?
2. Does the entire family have to go or the principal applicant?
3. In the application checklist, they say send IELTS score in original? I have a recieved a copy but I dont want to send the original as I need it for other purposes? Can I send a notorized document? or if I ask the center to send another copy, how do I co-oridinate with them so that they send it at the same time my app packet is submitted?

Thanks,

Usually only the Principal applicant attends the interview.
