Applying to Sponsor-Family Class from a Third Country

Hi Forum,
I am taking a job in China and my Thai husband and our daughter will there with me. If I want to apply to Sponsor my Thai National Husband under the family class from China do I need to fill in a special type of application? Can my husband to his medical clearance in China or does it need to be done in his home country?
Anyone with this type of experience?

If your husband is admitted into China with a visa of at least 1 year validity, then you can apply through China. He can have his medicals anywhere.
