Hi,
I am an Indian software professional currently staying in Boston, MA on L1B visa. My spouse (Indian) holds an L2 visa and our daughter is an US national. My spouse is about to apply for study permit for graduate study in Canada. She is waiting for the institute letter. About 2 weeks back she went back to India to collect her official transcripts and for some other work to be finished by end of December this year.
1. Given this context, where should she apply for study permit ..New York or New Delhi. I like to know which is faster and less hassle.
2. If she is applying from India and I am in US, can she apply for my dependent visa? To do that do we need to send my passport?
3. I need to apply for work authorization as dependent. What form needs to be filed to do that?
Experienced persons please suggest your opinion. Thanks in advance for your help.
