 Hello Friends,

I work in London,Ontario in a small firm with 2 permanent employees.Like all students i was planning to leave to Saskatoon. But my employer asked me to meet a lawyer and explore the options in Ontario instead of going Saskatoon.

So i met a lawyer and he said i can apply for PR under the arranged employment program. He says it should work.He says there is a almost 100% chance.

I needed a second opinion and i met another lawyer. He says i can apply for PR since i have 85 points and since i have an employment. He says as long as i have a job offer in Ontario,i am good and he says i have a great chance. It sounded too simple to me.So i am not sure whether its right or not as i heard so much about lawyers and how they take your money and promise you the skies.

My employer is ready to give me the  permanent job.
I heard that the salary has to be par with the Ontario standards. The lawyer says there is no need for that.

So i am bit confused and request your opinion whether what the second lawyer is saying will work and what are the pros and cons i should be looking at.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

This is 100% true. You do not need a lawyer if you can fill the paperwork correctly. Good luck!

Hello,

Let me ask this also....What are the things i should be worried about( i mean the risk factors for my application for PR to get rejected)...in applying in Ontario....

also what are the things i should do  to make sure the lawyer is not taking me for a ride....
