Hello,
I have done my Masters in Computer Sceince from United kingdom and currently on Post study work visa . I have been accepted to UBC for the course of Masters of software systems , i wanted to do my second master in software systems and it is relevant to my field thats why chose UBC.
The question is since its been one year i am looking for job in Uk but because of recession couldnot able to .How would i cover this gap to write in SOP and application Form .
secondly i am applying from London , will this be good decision for me or i should go back home to apply from their. As per home ties i am taking educational loan from Pakistan and my all family is their.

Please help me with your experience and advice . I am looking for your replies

BY looking at personal experience I would suggest you to apply from back home. I faced a refusal with very very strong financial case.
My advice is go back home and apply from there instead of wasting ur precious time like i did.

My refusal reasons are:
You have not satisfied me that you would leave Canada at the end of your stay . In reaching this decision, I considered several factors including :
Your travel history( but bro my travel history is full of visits in last 2 years. I have valid 6 months visit visa uk, I travelled to France on schegan visa last year, I travelled to Dubai in last summers).
Your immigration status ( I am here on student visa which is resident visa entitles me to apply for any country visa and I got my uk visa form UKBA ireland ).

Purpose of visit
Limited employment prospects in your country of residence
Your current employment situation
Your personal assets and financial status.

Other reasons:
You are going to Canada to study a 4 years program. While you could complete a similar program in 2 years at Griffith College ( credits given to student who completed your current program).
These are the reason why VO REFUSED my visa well now what do u suggest me to do ??
Kind Regards,
Ahmed.

As far as i know Travel history means VO wanted to see you how many times you travel to your home country as to see Ties that your family is their and you frequently go to meet them .
About Immigration status , Maybe VO is concerned about your education means you are still on student visa and studying than why you are applying to canada for further studies . He could think you will not study in canada.

The last thing its all your luck i have seen many people with perfect scenario not getting visa , and many with worst scenario getting visa .

Cheers
