Dear All,

Our immigration process from Islamabad has increase to 26 months, which is way too long. I had applied for TRV in June but unfortunately it was denied. I wish to apply again with all the documents. Can anyone help me with some samples of cover and invitation letter so that we can start the process of TRV again and what additional documents do we need to submit.

Thank You.

What docs did you submit with the first applications? And was there a reason they gave for refusal?

In that case you can try adding more documents to prove that you have strong ties to where you are. Owned property, business, employers letter, whatever else. You have to do it under dual intent as you intend to move to Canada when you get your PR.

  • payslips
  • letter from employer
  • bank statements
  • wife's PR card copy

Dual intention here means while having a pr apps in process you also intent to temporary visit canada. Thus you have to intention, one is to reside temporary and another is permanently which is allowed by CIC as they understand the pr apps for some countries takes longer.

However, since the op has no job nor property it would be difficult to get the trv approved as no solid reason he will return if allowed to visit temporarily especially with a family member in canada.
