Applying for PR - Any help appriciated!

Hi there, i've been reading through these forums, not being able to get the exact answer i'm after so i thought i'd post my situation up, and what i'd like to achieve.

Personal Details and Status in Canda

-Status is a 1year Working Holiday Visa
-Full time employee for a company
-Currently with a girl - no possibility of marriage or even living together. But have bank account together though will only be together 8months by the time my 1year working(holiday) visa runs out
-Family (cousin) who is married but no kids(so can't get her to sponsor as far as i understand it?)
-Age/*censored word* - 22/Male
-Skilled Workers Test - Score between 60 - 72 depending on how strict i am on myself with answers
-Current Citizenship location is Australia


I would like any advise on the best path to take to obtain a PR status please. Is there any form of Job Sponsorship i can obtain from my current employer? My job has offered me an apprentiship program which goes for 4 years. Is it possible for either my job to sponsor, or would upgrading/changing to a study visa let me work here and study under the apprentiship at the same time?

Again, any help is appriciated.

:) Unless your employer is under a program with Canada or has a extended business in Canada I don't believe he can sponsor you. I don't know of any Job Sponsorships with the gouvernment but sometimes they do have for a short period depending what they need as temporary workers but it is not what you are looking for.

To do a PR..all you have to do is fill out the forms, very carefully, supply all the docuements required and have the amount of money required to take care of your need in canada which the minmum is 10,000 cn but more is better of a chance to be accepted.

To come as a student will not give you a better chance. So why not take the 4 yr apprenticship with your company, apply for the PR and put your c.v. on the internet in the employees needed and wait.  

You must also look at what you are doing now before immigrating. Do you have a good future with your company? If so, why immigrate? Because you may not find work in your field and you do have to do an equivalance of your education and work experience to see if you measure up to Canadian Standards.

Are you ready to leave all your friends and family and what seems a good job opportunity as it seems you are well appreciated to have been offered a 4yr apprentiship and the grass is not greener in Canada.  

Why would you want to leave what seems to be a promising future with your company? Because of the hype on Canada.? Don't believe everything you see, hear or read. I'm a Canadian, born here so I know the truth. We have our poor, our street people, our unemployed and we have 1 million kids who still go to school without proper food.  Nothing is rosy as people seem to make it seem.

Jobs are scarce and you have to have Canadian work experience to be hired which immigration doesn't tell you. Once u get here, all want canadian experience and you must speak french if you come to montreal or any other where french is obligatory..in an english province there is no problem..so if you have no canadian experience then you will get a job as a manual laborer or dishwasher., waiter etc.  I don,t think that is how you want to start your life.

I would really think about it before immigrating because it isn't as it is portrayed and it costs alot.
