We are currently applying for my husband's Permanent Residence (inland) and we want his son from to come and visit us. We declared his son on his application but we are not currently applying for his PM. As they are from Mexico we will need to apply for a TRV but I'm concerned as we haven't even been given first stage approval of my husbands PM we will have a more difficult time getting his son's TRV approved. Anyone with any thoughts. We don't have a lot of extra income because my husband is not yet able to work. I don't really want to pay for all involved in getting my stepson his TRV just to have them reject it because of my husbands status. Any advice is appreciated.

Just curious, what does PM stand for?
