Hello,

I am confused and need info. I was recently dismissed (not my fault) from my ex employer. I am on a work permit that is valid until Aug 2013. I know it is pretty tough right now to obtain an LMO. Had an experience where I was offered the job and when the HR dept found out that they had to do an LMO for me they had decided to revoke my contract.

So while looking for another job, I am planning to apply for CSQ for temporary workers (Regular Program). My only concern right now is that I am NOT currently working. Am I eligible to apply for it even though I have almost 2 years experience working in Quebec? Is my permit still valid to be considered for the application?

Any inputs are appreciated. Merci tout le monde.

I think you are eligible to apply. The condition is 'you must have worked in your chosen profession is the last 5years.Go to the website and do an evaluation. If you're living in Quebec now, you may even have an advantage.
