HI everyone,
Am in a bit of jam and would greatly appreciate some advice and help!
I am Canadian, my husband is French. We have already applied for his PR through Spousal family class sponsorship. He is currently in France and the new IEC initiave is open where French citizens up till the age of 35, can apply for a working holiday visa.

On the  cic.gc.ca canada website it says that 'although the WHV is not designed for those who are waiting for PR, if the person satisfies all criteria they are welcome to apply for the working holiday initiave'

I would like to know if anyone has had any experience with this? on the application it asks if any previous type of visa has been applied for (IM 1295) and if so give details. Should we divulge specific information as when we applied for PR, the face i am Canadian and in Canada at the moment. Or just simply state that my husband would like to experience canada leisurly before we make our lives here.

PLEASE HELP! there is a quota on the website and it's depleting fast! we need to get thee application in (for working holiday) asap.

THanks everyone so much!
And good luck with your own issues, concerns!

1.  Yes he can.  Divulge the information, as they already have access to it, and if he doesn't it is misrepresentation and could result in a 2 year ban.
2.  IEC Paris has opened for 2012, 14, 000 visas available.  http://www.international.gc.ca/canada-europa/france/jeunesse-youth/programme_mobilite-mobility_program-en.asp
