applying canada work permit, with out offer in canada..has intl MS and 3 yrs exp

Hi,

I am an indian worked in india for 2.5 years as software  engineer, came Uk for Masters. i was working as a business analyst in Utilities domain for the last 1 year. i am interested in applying canadian work visa. My wife holds bachelor degree and is been working for the last 4 years in india.

after visiting several websites, i have gathered some information and Questions. can you please clear them.


What is the minimum experience required to apply for this visa?

Is my profession acceptable in Canada work permit category?

can my wife work along with me if i get a visa or do she need to apply again?

Is it mandatory having a job offer letter of canada in hand before applying tha visa?

how much money do i need to carry if i want to apply?

what should be the min value of assets that i need to show either on my name or my wife name?

I Dont have any blood relatives in canada apart from a couple of friends, will it make a big difference?

where should i check to get job offer in canada?

1 year of experience in listed occupation

I guess you being a software engineer,no.This occupation is removed from the list long time ago

Yes she can.Again,this is not visa,this is PR(Permanent resident)

Is it mandatory having a job offer letter of canada in hand before applying tha visa?
If you have a job offer then you dont fall under the quota system.(They limit it to 1000 permits / occupation)

Check message boards and job forums.If you have friends,check with them.Not to discourage you,from you experience and skills it is likely that you would get a PR ,especially with current restrictions.I guess Australia would be more apt for your case.
