Hello there
I already applied for PR in May 2010. Can I submit another application parallel and keep both active till I receive the PR visa in hand? I would like to try my luck once again if possible to get the visa little bit quicker than the present pre june 2010 processing speed . The idea behind it is because of the super sonic processing speed of the MI-2 may gave way to MI-3 when they announce it and can get advantage of it.
I dont want to cancel my exisitng application because nobody knows which is going to be faster in the future?
All answers good and bad are most welcome

Yes you can keep parallel applications going, i must say its a good idea to do so, but when time comes you will have to abandon 1 application along with its fee that you paid. Hello there

I guess it shouldnt be a problem. Though some seniors should update you. We applied back in the ancient times of 2006 and never heard anything from CIC. Re-Applied now and will see how it goes.

devilhimselff, Why do you think it could be a problem? Are you having both applications processing now or you withdrew your old application

Yes you can run parallel applications. When one gets to medical requests stage, visa office will ask you to withdraw the other.

Sounds like a good idea. But we need to wait till the next ministerial instructions!

I am pre june applcant(CHC London) and my NOC is still in MI-2. If my NOC remains in MI-3 should i apply again in a hope that my application might process faster.
What do you guys suggest taking in mind that my visa office is London.

I guess so becasue when they introduced MI-2 all MI-1 are bypassed and MI-2 applications were prioratized which indicates the new ministerial instruction can make the process much faster then the previous MI's. I am confused on one thing that unlike CHC New Delhi, London office is not as much fast as New Delhi. If we look at the spread sheet of post June applicant, we will find that there are lot of CHC London July and August applicant how are not even in “ IN PROCESS”. But Manila and New Delhi visa office are really fast for the post June applicant. What is your view regarding this??

You are right Peter2ca80, New Delhi and Manila visa offices are superfast on processing Post June 26 applications. London VO seems to be receiving more number of applications than these visa offices (just guessing).

Hello Wayne, I applied under pre-june MI-1 and now also planning to send one more application under MI-2 . i have a question regarding my IELTS result. As British council that conducts IELTS exam issues only one Test result report and the same original report was already sent by me with my full documents to CIC , pls. let me know if I need to take this IELTS test again . Or can I send photocopy of the test result alongwith covering letter explaining that my original result is with CHC with my previous application. Will they accept my one year old IELTS report that is already in their record. Thanks . Yes you can run parallel applications. When one gets to medical requests stage, visa office will ask you to withdraw the other.
Wayne.

No dear I said it Should not be a problem. I have sent a new application this week, and, as was advised here by many that its not a problem. Cappuccino's info is good and what he has said should be the case, for me and for others thinking about re-applying.
