My partner and I are planning on migrating to Canada under the skilled worker visa next year.  The debate is whether we should apply together now or wait to apply together later.  We are not married, so if I apply for myself now, how long would it take for her to get a visa if I add her later?  Would immigration deny her visa since I didn't put her on my initial application?

For skilled worker, wait for the new rules to see if you both still qualify.  If one qualifies, make an application with that one as the primary applicant, if both qualify, pick one of you to be the primary applicant.  It's the simplest way.  You don't have to be married as long as you have lived together for at least 12 months.
