APPLY FOR CANADA PR, IF OUT OF STATUS IN US

I came to US in 2006 on student visa and completed my MBA for 2 yrs after which I worked for a company for one year and then my h-1 visa for filed in 2009. However I was not able to maintain that status because my employer didnt give me a project and generate any payroll. Its one and 4 months now that I m out of status in US.
Can I still apply for Canada PR and what are the possibilities of rejection becoz of out of status in US.

Pls reply me. I m in great trouble and need consultation. If any contacts of good immigration consultants in US pls fwd.

As it appears that you were admitted to the US for 1 year, you can select Buffalo as the processing office.  Although it doesn't appear that you have checked to see if you qualify.  Unless you have 1 years experience in the occupations on the list of "29" http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-who-instructions.asp#list  you won't qualify, unless you have an Approved Employment Opinion from an employer in Canada.
