Dear all,

i have submitted my second apllication on 21 sep 2009 and waiting for the medical stage. presently i am working as an IT instructor in a university in Srilanka. i have 15 years of IT expereince as a hardware techinica, programmer systems analyst etc now i am working as a university teacher (instructor) for more than 6 years in addition to that i have completed my law degree(LL.B) this year I would like to work in a area which involves both law and IT. Is there any specific area i should concentrate on? i am interested in intellectual property law and IT law too

Other than that what is the best area i should concentrate to settle down? i have mentioned toreno as the first preferene.

How is the climate and cost of living in torento?
Is there any srilankans planning to migate to canada in my category?
Please Advice

Im from Sri Lanka and my NOC is 4131.
I got the medical request approx 2 months after sending the full set of docs.

Your best bet is to do some research about job opportunities in Canada thru job sites, then u can decide where to find jobs and where to settle down etc. Although u mentioned Toronto as the first preference, there's no legal requirement for you to settle down there.

Congrads.... Can you please also give brief description of the level of students you were teaching, like Grade 10, Grade 12, Diploma, B.A, BSc, BBA, M.A, MSc, MBA etc?
