Applied OWP & PR under LCP (How come my Name in ECAS is still single?)

Hi forumers, I'm just worried I checked today my ECAS and I keep typing my married name but no ECAS result come out. And now I did typed my Single Name it came out that they received my PR & OWP application April 29, 2011 and started Processing May 12, 2011. Do you think I will call CIC how come that they used my single name? I submitted a new passport under my married name, a marriage certificate, filled-up the forms under my married name and etc. but how come they'd still used my Single name? Anyone who experienced my situation but in the end they get their PR & OWP in their married name? Thanks guys.

mm. Maybe they have all the information already but just post your single name on e cast. but I think you should call CIC just to verify why is that. it's better that they explain to you. Good luck!

Thanks bbggliz. It's too hard or takes time to connect or reach an agent. )): I've been dialing for more than 2 hours with this number 1 888 242 2100 but to no avail )): poor me!

I know. it takes forever.. try again next week early in the morning. I usually try in the morning and fortunately I can always talk to an officer.

Were you single when you came here? Is the name written on your work permit your married name? If not then that explains it.  I guess CIC go by with the record they have when they issued your WP. 

I have changed my status too while I'm still working under the Program and I informed CIC of the change of my marital status and sent them a copy of my marriage certificate.  But on my PR/OWP applications i still used my single name to be consistent with their record.  I did put my married name on the "other name used".

Yes my WP is in my single name. I filled the form the other way around as you did. I put my Married name in the names first provided and my single name in the "other name used". I did sent also my marriage cert, new passport and other docs. Good luck to us. God bless
