I sent all the documents as requested by London office, do I expect any reply.
Also the CIO only send me the email reply that my case is approve, will all communication work like that. Do I sent letter what has happen as I only received the fileno from CIO, do I expect file number from London office also?
I am currently in Saudi Arabia, and would like to know how long they really take to process the case since on web they says 6-12 months, but I believe they are far behind in their deadlines and won't complete it for 24 months. I applied before also waiting for 60 months and in 60 months my case won't process so I close the old case and apply in new track. Please give whatever information you know about.

I don't really understand your case and perhaps others are equally confused. Perhaps check on your dates/facts and amend your subject line.... What I can't figure out is how you applied July 11??? Was that July 11, 2010? If so, why were your documents sent to London Dec 11? Applications after June 26, 2010 were supposed to be sent in one complete package to CIO, Nova Scotia and if approved the whole pkg would be forwarded by CIO to your Visa Office.
Indicate what your NOC code is, did you apply under FSW1 category? Did you have 67 points minimum and meet the requirements to have at least one full year working in one of the 29 NOC occupations? I hope this makes sense and hasn't further confused the situation, but we need more information in order to help you.
You say that CIO has approved your case - is that your OLD case or the July 11?

Hi,
I applied before the new rule applied at that time the IT Manager position was their, so I applied in this I send documents before July 2010 and got the CIO reply on 21 Oct 2010. Then I prepare all necessary documents and send to London office becuase CIO instructed me to do so .
1. The question was I not received any letter by mail from CIO but the email?
2. Second the documents which I prepare and send to London office I do expect reply from them or wait for some more time becuase as per the document I submitted my Original Birth Certificate for me and my wife, my Marriage Deed etc.
So if they says 6-12 processing, will this include the application approval timeline from CIO becuase CIO issue me on Oct 2010 the Application NO, so do I expect something from London office or it is the only thing. If I not explain clearly do let me know and thank you for your response.

Sorry I don't know much about the pre-26 June 2010, but I believe the countdown doesn't start until the complete application reaches the VO. For the post 26 June applicants, the London VO seems to be very slow. Perhaps if you ask on a thread for applicants around your time period you will get a more informed response. If the lack of response to your December application has been longer than expected, perhaps it is time to send a VO specific request for information. Good Luck
