I wanted to start a thread for people who have filed their application through NS >>> Buffalo. But who are residing in CANADA.
The reason I would like to look at CANADA separately. Just to identify if the proccessing times are faster if you apply through
CANADA.

Mainly people who have applied in 2008 End 2009 can give good inputs about processing times .

We can only hope that Buffalo is faster for people who are in Canada with work permit or student visas.I think it is slower for us.We are not priority for them beacose we lives in Canada, working, paying taxex....etc.
It is definitely slower. Sad

Hi Purke ,

One more thought may be it has to do with categroy (FSW2, FSW3 ) as well .
Since people from Canada apply in a different Category, there could less files piled up here .

Hi Guys ,

Any pointers ...

Basically I am looking at information related to processing time lines for canada PR with new process i.e. through CIO Sydney.  Separate time lines like medical requests , 1st AOR , 2nd AOR , received passport by VISA office . NOC Category (e.g. 0213 , 2174, 2173 )

Also indications on some general mistakes in forms like Education, pay slips, reference letter issues , new canada PR rules , ignorance of rule change etc. would be helpful

I live in Canada, Edmonton, Alberta... I just sent my paperwork to Buffalo, so lets hope I hear from them soon. I had sent my documents to Nova Scotia Oct. 2009 and received a letter Dec. 2009.
