This is the part that talking about processing and analysis:
" The Canadian Consulate General in Detroit
will complete the analysis of your application and determine if a personal interview with a visa officer is required. Your file number remains the same."
so you are saying there are cases that have been looked at in the Buffalo office?
can someone confirm if they have got the same sort of email

Hi Bardcir, Yes,actually i have seen a different format for the transfer letter on Trackitt, where the applicants have copied and pasted the letter and it was saying exactly: Dear applicant, This refers to your application for the Permanent residence in Canada, we now finished the eligibility review of your application and transfered your file to the .....visa office to continue the processing of your application......and so forth. So it was a kind of conformation that they have done the eligibility review in Buffalo, and then transfered the file to another visa office. It was a long detailed letter, i cannot find the link exactly on Trackitt, but i think if you try to search for it there, you will find it. Good luck. |

My file was transfered to Detroit on last week of April and the status changed from Recieved by visa office to In process in fist week of may
It says
Your application was reviewed and we started processing on May X
Can somebody clearify what does they mean by saying we started processing i see everybodies In Process different.
Does they inform about medical request via e-case status ....anybody has an idea..

Hi canadacanada, No they do not mention the medical request on the online status, they only mention the reciept of your medical results when they receive it, but not the request. My online status looks like yours: the main link is "In Process", and when i click on that, i read the last line says: Your application was reviewed and we started processing on April 30. They changed my online status from received by the visa office to In Process on May 3 2010. My application was not transfered to any other visa office than Buffalo. By the way, i have seen a guy on trackitt who says that they mentioned the following on his online status after they changed to In Process: Your file was reviewed and we started processing on ..... Interview scheduled on August...... In his case they mentioned the interview even before sending him a letter about it. after 2 weeks almost he got the letter about the interview. |
