I received my AOR in last week of July, 2009 . After that there is no update. Just ' Received by Visa office'.
In the forums also the updates to status - like 'in process' are just 'one-offs' and not a trend.
Any comments friends- At least what timelines we should assume. Thanks

I can't understand your time line... you started Feb 2009, how can submit you document to buffalo until Jan 18? But good luck anyway. looks like they are trying to issue file number within 4-8 weeks. (what my lawyer told me. |

no the date format is date/month/yr, so I started on july2009, got my aor from CIO on sept2009, submitted my docs on jan-18-2010. |

I wanted to have my lawyer overnite the docs to Buffalo, since it was coming from their offices in Montreal, but they said they have their own courier system that will get the package to Buffalo on Jan 18. Gee, I hope my docs did get there since my deadline was on Jan 18. That would be very bad indeed if it got there a day or two later.

No anjay, what I meant was Jan 18th was 122 days away from your CIO NS AOR date. Your deadline should have been Jan 16th.

In the normal process of things, an interview (if required) happens before Medical, but there have been many instances when an Interview has also been requested at a later stage. So, it is difficult to tell and differs on a case to case basis. Also, difficult to tell what are the chances of an interview. One consultant had once told me that an interview is normally requested for 2-3 % cases, but I can't vouch for the basis of his statement. |
