Get scanned copy of the medical letter, print it and then go to local DMP.

Guys ,
 quick question :  My file has been transferred  from buffalo NY( which i applied in jul 2010) to Detroit in feb 2012  (stage 2 of processing )and it says that "in process " and it started processing on feb 1st 2012. how long does it take to get the medicals when processed from Detroit.

I appreciate your concern . knowledge is power.

Are you a post June applicant? If so when did you receive PER? You should get medicals within 3 months

hi guys,

I got my medical request on 14th feb dated 7th feb. I will summit the medical results by 10th march. VO also asked to have updated FBI PCC.

How long does it takes to passport request once medical results received by Visa Office.

My visa office is Buffalo.

I have scheduled appointment for medicals tomorrow. Also I just noticed in the medical request letter that i have been asked to pay the Right of Permanent Resident Fee - RPRF .

If I am right, i have to send the fee of 490$ to New york Office(as my file is transferred to New york) and the doctor will send the medical report to Ottawa.

I would wait until first week of March. If you won't hear anything from NY send a status update to them.

Hi Guys,

Is it possible to get the Visa stamped in-person from the VO? I have received PPR yesterday from Detroit VO. I was wondering if it is even possible to go there and get the Visa stamped in-person instead of mailing.

Please let me know if any one know anything about the possibility of Visa stamping in-person.
