item 4 of VO Travel Documents and Passports

passports or travel documets for you, your spouse or common-law partner and your dependent children. Include only copies of pages showing:

the passport number
date of issue and expiry
your photo, name, date and place of birth.
if you live in a country different from your nationality, include a photocopy of your visa for the country where you currently live.


from above requirement i think

1. if you live in the country which you issue your passport then just Bio-pages
2. if you live in the country other than the country you live, then you need copy the visa which your residence country issue to you.

i dont think you need copy all the passport pages.

I fully agree with your thoughts and the logic behind that. BUT ...unfortunately this is a strange world with strange people having strange thoughts......

That is the reason I mentioned that this is a VO specific requirement (Sl # 4) ..... sending the photocopies of ALL pages of PP. For me (India).... it is like that.... so for India that kind of difference IS there...  AND if we DON'T adhere to ....we may miss the bus ...... which I don't want to   

So dear members...please go through your Visa Office requirements carefully. All the best

what document has to be provided as proof from bank? 6 months statement? bank verification letter about balance??

gold?

property?

Sorry..... I couldn't reply you earlier.
IMHO Your bank statement of last 6 months or more will be sufficient!! It again depends on total no. of people accompanying you...... If the bank statement is not sufficient, then unencumbered funds like FDs, NSC or KVP will do!! Don't go for policies, gold, jewelery or property...... All the best

property can be used as proof of funds.. check the EG7 .. it clearly says that..
also the best advisable would be to show property in addition to the cash if you are just on the borderline for the fund requirements

I wonder if gold is admissible as proof of funds at landing why is it not admissible at this stage.
