they send my file back on 10th September, on 12th September CIO accepting files on the basis of  matric cert., passport as birth proof, my bad luck. i had the birth certificate, now i will send the file with birth cert.

Don't worry Ajay apply again with full docs.
Did you sent transcript in sealed envloped?
and are you sure that it is ok without birth certy after 12 Sep. because I send My application 22 Sep. wihout birth certy and transcripts in sealed envlope?

The number announced yesterday for 3131 is 477 ,right? How many do you believe we should add to get a more accurate number of the total 3131 whose complete app. have already been received?

I am still in the dark, on the part of the courieer and CIO as to what has happened to my app. I have to reapply and you know it's a lot time consuming . I'm really concerned about the cap.   What's your estimation of the difference between the published number and the real one ?

Yeah that sounds feasible though thats not counting us FSW2'ers. I think someone else worked it out to be around 4%, so when nobody here gets a PER it's not that surprising because we are a very small fraction. However, even 4% is pretty impressive for a random internet forum. It'd be great if we could get everyone on that spreadsheet though.
Nope, my client number doesn't work and neither does my file number. So much for Oracle databases

I strongly suspect the "ECAS" system is completely separated from their core data system, and that someone has to manually key data in to update it (hence why it updates every Tuesday).

Now, I can understand for performance and security reasons why they don't want to show data from their live databases, however there's no reason other than laziness and technical ineptitude why they cannot have the ECAS system look at a staging database, and every night details are migrated automatically from their live system to the staging database. No manual intervention necessary, and no performance hits or security risks on their live system.

I think CIC are living in the technical dark ages. I suppose we should be grateful that they at least have internet access and get send emails!

Unfortunately I am not remotely drunk - I had one shot of whiskey in an Irish coffee I made, now I am drinking black coffee from the rest of the pot! Too late to get to the pub in decent time for closing time, so I think I'll save getting drunk until the weekend.

My wife and I are off to a Rugby game on Sunday so there will be PLENTY of scope for drinking after the match Also my wife is out on Friday night for her Christmas party (partners not invited!) so I think I will commondeer a bottle of red wine (possibly two) for myself to have with the other half of the super-hot curry I made myself on Tuesday I may even record some piano/guitar music whilst I am in the mood!

Hi Robin,

I sympathise it must be very frustrating. Unfortunately I do not think there is anything you can do but wait it out until you get a response. Pass or fail you will get an email from CIC, and phoning them I believe they will just tell you the same thing they told you when you emailed them.

Can you think, is there any element of your application which might be particularly complex that they would require additional time for during the eligibility review? Have you had extensive travel, especially involving middle eastern countries, or have you lived in several different countries?

Best of luck and I hope you hear something soon, waiting is the worst part!
