Hello All,
Finally, An update on my file. I sent an email yesterday to buffalo VO asking for the status and they replied saying, "Your File has been transferred to NY Visa office on April 23rd". happy to hear that there is some movement at least.
But, I didn't receive any email from them unless I initiated a status email (reply on my email). Is this something that I have to worry for (that they don't initiate any email)?

Please clarify one thing for me:
Is VISA valid from the day its issued or from the day of Meds signed by DMP or Meds received ?

Visa is valid till one year from Meds done or before the date of expiry of PPs... whichever is earlier |

I need to go to ndvo to ask whereabouts of my passports... Guys gimme tips n advise.. I know they don entertain prv applicants, but there is no other option left.. It has been more than six months since my meds now... No reply to queries, no correspondence.

Thank goodness you have finally taken my last advice. You tried everything that was possible in your capacity and this is the LAST thing that you can do. We all know that NDVO does not entertain any meeting with them. But there is atleast one case wherein the applicants had gone to NDVO (at Shantipath) in the morning ( I will confirm the exact timing for you). They had tickets booked and they had been waiting for PP for more than 3 months. They were asked the details of their case and they got their PP with stamped visa after 3 hrs. Please also contact Anil.....I will let him too. Please take all the docs pertaining to your case including your last GCMS notes and the recent one too (if u get it before the PPs arrive). Just want to share our GSMC notes we received last week: i was worried that they never acknowledged any receipt of our additional docs sent, anyway the main points are: Selection criteria, eligibility, required funds - all MET ! all Drafts (RPRF & Add. child) - cashed new baby - added Meds - in progress Security - not started (I presume it will start after Meds received) PCC from country of birth requested last october, sent in Nov - all received and recorded Due date and dead line - no change still old date - 24 Jan 2012 Notes recorded - all communications via e-mail, Meds errors, spouse's pregnancy... all we advised earlier The File is 58 pages compare to the first one was only 35 pages (was empty) Despite the fact that there are some minor discrepancy on their system, for example they still have us as four people, and all details are for five people. I think as long as they have all recorded, there is no reason for panic. I am satisfied with what on the file so far. We are currently waiting for our blood test results, should be in this week, hopefully early next week our DMP will send Meds to LVO. Cheers |
