My post graduate work permit expires this coming October. What are my options if I want to apply under CEC instead of waiting on my FSW2 application?
if you have 1 yr experience and studied in Canada , you can apply. |

But I thought that my work permit has to be valid when they make a decision. I sent several CSE to Buffalo and they keep giving me the same generic response : in process, keep communication to a minimum. Ecas still shows RBVO
Work permit should be vaild for FSW2 when decision is made.But for CEC, it does not matter whether permit is valid or not.so applying under CEC is more safe. |

This is the best news I've heard in a while. Will write a new IELTS (took mine over 2 years ago) and apply immediately. |

Hi all
I received passports with visas yesterday
The passports and COPRs was directly inserted in the courier package?Not in one envelope from the Embassy then the courier package ?Is that normal?no more pamphlets or originals sent with the application" Experience certificates was original "
From the forum , many members reported that the VOs returned any originals with the application, and IELTS results, which didn't happen with me!
The courier also asked for 40 dollars, said it's required by the embassy to release the package and didn't provide receipt ??
Any suggestions?

I have heard from Pakistani members on the forum that when they receive any package from VO, the courier person has to be paid. Maybe the same strategy for Cairo. You are the first one on this thread to report this. You should have received your Original IELTS...no idea why that was'nt sent. You may request it to be mailed to you. You may agin have to pay the Courier person. And why wouldnt the courier provide a receipt...call the office to confirm...Curious now...  Mitali |

I'm one! Is there a separate forum where I can hear things about what's going on.
I mean, I'm very much loyal to this one.. just wondering if there was just like LA VO..

Dear Mayank, Same with me, According to the guys, they say that it will take a month for visa. But actually i want to know that whats d difference between CEC and FSW application. as i have given application on FSW. Please guide us .. |

i applied on 24th January 2011, recd. AOR on 17th March and since then RBVO.
wow...that's a big jump in one week... i received the email that I got transferred to Seattle VO a week ago... and I'm a Nov. 2010 applicant... way to go! Let it pour, indeed!  aliyah |

Dear guys i noticed that hundreds of pre June applicants got in process status or got rejected in first review by LVO in last to months , so i predict that new guide lines for fsw is coming soon and will be implemented to those applicants whose status is not in process so LVO is working hard to those applicants who are waiting first review to convert them IN PROCESS This is my analysis only  |
