Well it's just that one of the moderators has left the filter on for column A    (Seems someone was looking at mine and "Jacob"'s information or whatever)... If you download it to your comp and see you will be able to check out all

plannning for CEC?? i am giving a serious thought abt it

i applied under CEC in February 2012.i will suggest if you can apply under CEC so better do it. As it's only the extra fees and it's good to be safe as they keep changing the policies.

I called CIC yesterday morning ,and they asked lot of question on my work permit and when it's expiring.and i also sent email to buffalo regarding the status of the file.but later in afternoon i get email from buffalo regarding file transfer.in email the date file was transferred is not mentioned.so just wondering is it because of work permit ,which is getting expired in September they transferred the file?

i applied under CEC in February 2012.i will suggest if you can apply under CEC so better do it. As it's only the extra fees and it's good to be safe as they keep changing the policies.

I applied in february.The application is to be sent at Novascotia/sydney instead of VO.They cahnged rules from 1st january.before that the files were sent to VO.However now to speed up the process it goes to sydney first.After that they are now transfering most of the files to CPC ottawa or to VO.
january applicants have recd. AOR for now, but none of them recd. medicals.

As for sydney they are working on files submitted in april.the draft/money order for files upto march have been cashed.

Thank you so much ! I appreciate your quick response. Do you know if I select ND as my VO instead of Buffalo - will the CEC process be any faster? will the file be sent to ND for processing or irrespective of the VO selected NS will send file to ottawa / VO in the US? Thanks again for your help.

My post graduate work permit expires this coming October. What are my options if I want to apply under CEC instead of waiting on my FSW2 application?

Just fill in the CEC application and send it to NS. IELTS results have to be enclosed. You can apply under CEC if you have 2 years of canadian experience. In your case if you have studied in Canada I think you can apply after 1 year of canadian experience. Good Luck !

Why dont you send a CSE to Buffalo for FSW?

But I thought that my work permit has to be valid when they make a decision. I sent several CSE to Buffalo and they keep giving me the same generic response : in process, keep communication to a minimum. Ecas still shows RBVO
