Hi Wayne and senior members of this forum, I would like to know that when is File number created ? What i understand is when they receive application, they provide Application ID and further they check our documents and encash our BD/CC, if one is through. Now in our case they do eligibility check also at CIO. So my question is, whether file number is created before eligibility or after eligibility check ?
The answer is: no idea. Given that people who haven't had AOR and have been told that their review hasn't started have had a file number, my guess is that file number is almost certainly allocated after completeness check. Urgo getting the file number isn't really of any use, unless you can't tell if your banker's draft is cashed and you need to know if you passed your completeness check. IMO file number has no bearing on whether or not you pass your eligibility review. Wayne. |

Hello All, Big congratulations to all who have received their AOR/PERs. All the very best for the rest of the process! and Good luck to all of us who are still waiting patiently  I have been refreshing and reading this thread every 5 min but havent really participated as dont have anything to update!!! It seems CIC is just refusing to inform me anything. My CC has still not been charged. I have emailed them last Friday but no response!!! I have called them couple of times but the only response I get is 33 weeks. So am trying very hard to be positive and patient!!!! |

Moscow VO on the move, I got my PER from FSW-Centralized_Intake-Office @ cic.gc.ca yesterday at 10 PM.
"Based on a review of the information you have provided, your application has received a positive final determination of eligibility for processing on the basis of:
X Work experience in an occupation specified in the Instructions issued by the Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism and published in the Canada Gazette on June 26, 2010. "

Coffee I agree with you and that's the reason I have raised the question. coz. when some guys mailed to know their status after CC charged, they were only replied by a mail stating that their application is under review by officer and they will be contacted shortly. But I am not sure............. |

Yup, I agree with Asaif that the rate of AOR's or PER's that is posted here will be atleast 1-2 per day with somedays that are zero. I know for a fact that some people who submitted their files in July and August have received their PER's and dont even know this website (coz my consultant told me that their clients who filed around july and august are now receiving positive response)
