It takes 30 days to compile and another couple of days to reach you.....a max of 35-40  days.

The chances of rejection are very slim after PP/MR/PCC request...unless they find out you are a cousin of Osama bin Laden  Grin.

NDVO is very erratic in issuing PPs...sometimes its within 15 days and sometimes its over 6 months. General trend is 15-30 days max.

Hi EveryOne,
I had applied in FSW 2 Category during Nov 2010 to NS->Buffalo and still its in RBVO status.
Now I am in dilema whether to apply in Canadian Exp class as it looks another 1 year to get it(I am assuming,it could even be later).

When I enquired to Buffalo office they mentioned "Your application is in progress.We are unable to provide a date when the processing of your application will be complete".But didnt receive any mails from them this is just a response.

I went through the previous posts, they mention this is standard message and it cannot be counted for..

Please let me know whether to wait for some time or go ahead to apply CEC class??

Yes, why not. If you qualify for CEC then IMO you should apply. CIC is changing rules without warning....so its better to have a plan to fall back upon.

Thanks Mitali for your quick response!
For CEC, this time I am not going to put nearest VO as  Buffalo VO,instead NDVO..as I read they are processing faster than Buffalo..
So I believe applying 2 applications..FSW and CEC would not cause an issue ,unless any one being started in processing...

No issues at all for having two applications in process. Having NDVO as your VO will give you a safety net....in case you have to leave Canada for any reason (God forbid), then you can be in India for PP stamping. But if you have Buffalo as VO then you have send your PP to Buffalo for stamping which may not be a possibility.

Be aware that when you are asked for stamping ....you will have to make arrangements for your PP to be mailed to NDVO and received at an Indian address. VO will not mail your PP to Canada.
