I want to know wht will be d job scenario tht time of year as i think summer wil be on?
I hav heard tht jobs r very less in those months.
Plz any one put some light on this factor.

It is left to every one's own opinion. What people say is, people acorss the globe visit canada in summer and so there are new jobs in summer all the time. Some others say, students(adults) get summer break and so they would want to work in summer. They will occupy some jobs. There is difference of opinions with each and every one. I wouldnt count on any of these. Lets be positive. Thats all I can say. To me, I have a friend who came few months back to Toronto and living close to my place. He & his wife found jobs immediately. Even now, they change jobs when they find a better one. So, I think there is no problem with jobs in canada. Thanks, satya. |

Dear Group members, I have come back to this forum after quite a while. I landed in Toronto and completed the landing formalities. Last week I got the PR cards for myself and the family So far so good !! I have now noticed that the PR cards have no signature of the card holders. The place below the photograph is empty. The youtube video which explains the security features http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q96y1C_VefY very clearly mentions about the signature being a key security feature. I have found a great job in BC and would be relocating end of April and would see entrance into the country based on these PR cards. Hence i am a bit worried what happens if I am turned away !! Anyone can help ?? |

Well smile I see several people's case as mine & I don't think it will add much. Probably just that they are still going "under"ground checks & several people are still waiting like me. So, I will just wait a little bit longer, but pray I would have this special Canada smile soon |

I'm in the same boat ,in process since last July ,background check is going on....  Yeah.. Ur file must b as interesting or as non-interesting as my file then Did they ask you file updates while you were in process? Though I am sure that delay must be holding good news for me after all. Good luck KG.. Summer is usually better than winter for landing. At least you Wilber sure there ain't snow storms blocking the roads. I believe that if you work hard you will find a job & be appreciated. Don't worry, just work hard & the rest will sure to come |
