Hey Thanks buddy, thanks for sharing your landing experience !!  Keep in touch.... Arrived Toronto on 4 PM on 10 march 2012 , Security guards were there and asked about visa status or canadian citizen, when I told new immigrant just they welcome in canada; and suggested to pass through immigration; AFTER few minute of there was dedicated service for new immigrants; stamped on CoPR and asked how much money do u have and i said 17100 (family of three) , they believed not looked (but not suggesting to not bring, you MUST bring the specified amount) and said welcome to canada.
I have one friend whom I phoned after custom( declare the things i will bring later one), within 20 minute the friend pick up me and dropped to the prebooked aparment and dinner with him, the very second day, got SIN number and opened bank account and preparing myself for further job search and other stuffs;;; hope will go smooth

Hey Fregrance..... You will definately get your PP back by this month end..... Can you tell me what is the date of encashment of your RPRF DD?? What is your ECAS status showing ?? Destination is not far away now..... Its just few days remaining of your wait..... TC and keep in touch... thanks theshivster, sonu_rp, bhakti, my can but my only concern is they replied me earlier that they received the passport and draft once before and they replied the same thing again today in the second inquiry as well atleast i m happy they reply to my emails   but since 2 and half months i m waiting for the passports back now i dont knw how much more time they will take to just stamp it  |

(for +1) One thing is true: MOST Employers here look for canadian experience which is a very sad point for new immigrants. This is not the case in US. I didnt observe this is US. So, Canadian Work Experience is priceless in canada.  Let me know if you need any info that you may need about canada(for immigration or to settle down in canada). TC and keep in touch... hey Avsneh, thanks for motivation my draft was encashed on 27th january and medical received line was updated on 31th jan in ecas, my bring forward date as in late date to submitt all documents was 22nd feb   i think they like me sending them emails i guess only then they work caz thought the process i have been sending case specific inquiries as they have delayed things without any specific or obvious reason |
