Although its nice to see some work being done in Buffalo I think he was one of the lucky applicants that got his file review back when Buffalo was working and now its just a passport stamping... Buffalo has not sent a MR since december to a post june....

Buffalo Applicants,

Found this on trackitt - Canadiantobe applied in sept 2010 and has got PPR in Feb 2012 from Buffalo.

As posted on trackitt

I just received an e-mail from Buffalo requesting my passport and RPRF $490 I am a post-june 2010 applicant and did my medical on December 2011 but deferred the X-ray due to pregnancy and just took the x-ray on February 3rd, 2012 and it reached Ottawa Health Management Branch on February 14th, 2012 and 10 days later I am getting PPR.. I am sooo happy! The website says that I should be getting my permanent residence visa within 15 business days after my passport is received. I am sending it tomorrow morning.

Dear Forum Members,

With the grace of God Almighty, the Ecas status has changed to DECISION MADE.  But the details inside are the same..i.e., Medical Results have been received...RPRF was encashed on 22.02.2012.  Plzzzzzzzz advice if I can rejoice...since the following is NOT added...

"Permanent Residence Status Determined.  If your application is approved, we will send you your permanent resident documentation and a letter saying what we need to finalize your permanent residence."

Is it over yet?! Plz advise if I can lookout for the passports with the visa.

Thanks & Regards,

Pinakini.

A couple of weeks back, I wrote to London VO complaining of the procedure whereby people who applied later are seeing greater progress than those who applied earlier.

I also reminded them of the unfair situation where circumstances have changed due to their inaction which allows one set of applicants, within the same cycle, to get their visa based on their circumstances when they applied while the others have to deal with changing circumstances.

Last week I got the generic response "This is in response to your enquiry.Your application is in process or waiting to be reviewed by an immigration officer. No further action is required by you at this time. Our office will contact the applicant when a decision has been made or if further information is required. Immigration decisions and information requests are sent by post or email to the addresses provided in the application. We thank you for your patience and for keeping your correspondence to a minimum"

I thought that was the end of it but today I got a follow on which says "Thank you for your recent enquiry. Please be advised that your application has now been reviewed by an immigration officer. The next steps in the processing of your application are due to be taken shortly, which includes the issuance of medical forms. We will be in contact with further information in due course."

At least I got a positive response for my persistence.

Hey Mitsi,,

The BFD mentioned in GCMS is 2nd March 23:00:00 .... although due date for crim is 3rd March. What are the chances of VO making a decision that day...
