Hi cutenut,

What do you mean by "additional medical information" ? Do you mean additional tests? When did you receive this info?

Check with your DMP and ask if additional tests are required?

I sent them CSQ and in reply they told me that  "request for  additional medical information has been sent to you and awaiting result of those" I have not recd anything yet so will be checking my mails so I dont knw exactly what they want. But my DMP said at the time of sendng mediclas that everything is normal so am confused what they need now

When did you get this email? If its already 7 days that you've received this response then send an CSE again to clarify you confusion with VO ...but before that call your DMP and discuss the issue. Maybe its an error on CIC and your file is being held for no reason. Act ASAP..... I know you will.

I just recd the email yesterday, actually I asked them CSQ that I have not recd any further communication since I sent my medicals and now its been 4 months and in return they said that they need some additional medical info.. am resding in dubai so fri and sat is off so I have to consult my dmp on sunday only... but they said request has been sent to me.. so how would my DMP would knw but anywayz I will call him tomorrow...

One more thing have u seen any cases where applicant has been asked for aqdditional medical test and after submitting those they got the visa???

medical done on 14th feb.....

medicals copy/pp/rprf/pcc received by NDVO on 15th feb....
medicals done on 14th feb.....

We share almost same dates for this... We did medicals on 10th feb and they reached NDVO on 16th feb... No Medical line as yet though

Your DMP would not tell you about the results as it against the Policy. They can only advise for further checkups based on the Med results. But if your DMP says that meds were okay ( which he can..as he is not disclosing the nitty gritty details) then probably the Med section of CIC found something out of place and wants a clarification. It could also be the DMP's fault...like forgot to write something that was mandatory (unfortunately you have pay for his fault).

It is up to the applicant to take appropriate measures to rectify (as much as possible) before going for a re-med. Another forum member recently had to go for a re med...you can contact DAASH for more info.

Yes, I know another member who had got re-meds for his wife and now has the visa.....contact Chander for details (he is a pre Juner).

Be assured that you will not be denied PR for re-meds...its just that you will be delayed. The listed diseases for barring an applicant to get PR are TB and Syphilis.
