Hello Guys,
I have been following everyone's post but never posted anything on the forum. Everyone seems to very helpful on this forum so I really appreciate if anyone can help me out. I am March 2011 applicant and ecas status is RBVO and nothing has changed since then.I had applied from USA and my VO is Buffalo but recently I moved back to Nepal .I did change my address and my address has been updated in Ecas but one word is missing . I did email the VO in reply they said not follow Ecas cause Ecas is only for applicant within Canada. My question is how can I find out if VO have my accurate physical address. I would appreciate a lot if there is anyone who has an answer to my question.
Thank you in advance...

hi friends-I have been asked the following documents and I am sending them tomorrow.
1)   New Schedule A Background/Declaration form for myself and my spouse.
2)   New Additional Family Information Form IMM5406 for myself and my spouse.
3)   Original Police Verification Certificates for myself and my spouse(U.A.E. and India)
4)   Right of Permanent Residence Fee by way of Bank Draft  for Canadian Dollars Nine hundred and Eighty (980) only.

One last word, with the Bank Draft do I need to write my name & Application # on the back or shall I put a post it note on the back of it

I was suggested by senior members to write the Application number on the back itself

Dear Forum,

Im preparing myself to land after completion of my visa processing. Now curious to ask two things,

1. Has anyone faced a problem at the airport for carrying low amount of funding, i mean below the required amount ?

2. What goods aren't allowed to enter into Canada ?

Please share your experience.

I hear you thebeast184. This is very very unfair. I am thinking of reapplying via a different VO as Buffalo has been a big disappointment. Its almost useless to even think about it my FSW application anymore. Very unfair.

Angry Angry Angry Months come and go and US/CANADA applicants that chose Buffalo as their VO keep being treated unfairly Angry Angry Angry Angry I can't believe after such a long time nothing has been done by Buffalo or politicians to fix the situation. June is around the corner and who knows if the FSW will be changed and what can happen to us at Buffalo as a consequence Cry

Hi all,

Have not visited this site in ages. I have been so frustrated that I am just taking it one day at a time. It seems that the Kingston VO is the slowest of all. Have not heard anything from them since I checked and saw that my file was received by their office. Angry I have been at RBVO from Feb. 25, 2011 and not a word. I thought they said that the process would be faster but I think it only go for some VO and not mine. Sad So the wait continues until they think it is time to acknowledge my presence.

Hi m8,

You have my sympathies. CanadaJimmy is also through buffalo and his application has also gone painfully slow compared with other visa offices.

Regrettably I don't see what can be done other than hope that each year they bring in more rules to help eleviate the backlog. I had hoped that the capping system, especially limiting to a mere 10,000 FSW1 applications this year, would make a serious dent but its impact has been disappointing, or delayed.

Fingers crossed things speed up soon!

Wayne.

Please note much of the information on the process relates to 2010/2011 process. A new process is coming out for FSWP in May 2013.

Thanks bro

Hi Ozone,

Congratualtions on the completion of your programme and your news job; way to go bro Wink. I am not sure if it is that compulsory that you update any form at this stage, if at all. I don't think it matters what your point is, in so far as you make the 67 points, everyone would be processed irrespective of their eligibility points. Seeing as you have sent them the info regarding your masters degree and new job, Buffalo, if the VO needs you to update any forms, they will contact you once processing of your file starts.

All the best bro.
