5 minutes until CIO opening time

Hoping for an AOR-a-thon this afternoon after a few slow days Thursday, Friday + Monday.
Wayne.
Great Wayne! I was just thinking the same and wanted to post it, only to see a warning that you had already posted the same thing

Looks like we are catching up with the theories again

...
My 2 cents:
The CIO must have confirmed that the application is eligible under the MI

, that ALL documents are provided

and look fine

, and that the application reaches 67 points

, before issuing the AOR

. This is the Positive FINAL determination for processing.
The VO will have to ensure the documentation provided is perfect and perform the background checks on them. While performing the BCs, the VO may be tempted to count the points again as appropriate

. Once the BC is through, we receive the medicals and RPRF request. During this time, our security checks happen. By the time our medicals and RPRF are through, passports are requested(if not requested earlier with the RPRF). The average time for this would be around 4 to 5 months

depending upon the backlog @ the VO.
So, if we get an AOR, and our documents are clear and perfect, we should be through

. The chances are rare to fail in background and security checks

for those of us with clear documentation. I bet we have worked really hard to prepare the documentation as clear and perfect as possible.
Once again congratulations for those 14 of you with the AORs in hand already! You guys are much closer to the Maple leaves

Thanks,
Indira Prabhakaran.
