Hi MSM-2332

You may wish to have a look at ND tracker too!!!! 'Grasshopper' has indeed submitted his PCC ....... All the Best. Thanks.

Cheers, Anil

Yea, that is what I thought anyway. PCC were obligatory at the beginning, don't remember exactly, I think it was late August when CIC changed rules and said PCC is not to be submitted. (BTW, now the rules are that PCC are preferable)

Wayne, please update int'l tracker then re Grasshopper's PCC.

Hi crissy225,
Check your Visa office specific form requirment. You don't need to notorize copies of passport (unless you VO requires it to be done). For the payment, you only need one payment form for all of you. The original of your transcript is required.
Hope this helps! Good luck with your application.

yeah you should notorized copies of passports of all members, no just fill one fee payment form for your credit card and you may send the original transcripts in university sealed envelopes.

Welcome crissy225,

Yes, you will have to submit notarized copies of the passports as indicated in the VO specific checklist. Which VO is yours?

For a family of 3, you just need to fill one fee payment form, and the payment should state $1250, and fill in the credit card details as required. Do not forget to sign the form(The card holder has to sign the form i guess) and date it.

I'm not sure if you are mentioning the ORIGINAL transcripts that you received after your graduation. If yes, please do not send them. You will have to procure a new set of transcripts from the university for immigration purpose in a university sealed envelopes and this is what they mean original transcripts in uni sealed envelopes.

Thanks,

Indira Prabhakaran.

My apology to ask the below question as most of us are still waiting for the first AOR. I hope we all should be getting the first AOR by in Dec 10. CIC has only 4000+ applicants. I believe CIO would be finishing the AOR work before x-mas.

My question is

What may be the expected time from first AOR received to medical request. Let us guess and keep this thread alive with some new ideas

I understand that all the documents submitted by us would fly down to our respective country VO. I hope they would reach safely. I know the documents (if they are sent between the embassy offices of same country, in two different countries) they are treated as diplomatic mail and have none chances of misplacement.

Let me assume as below

Document reaching to local VO  (from the date of first AOR) : 2 weeks

Local VO doing documents fraud checking, calling employer, site visit etc: 4 weeks

Issue the medical + PPR : 2 weeks

Medical received : 2 weeks

Visa Issue: 2 weeks

Misc delays: 4 weeks

Am I too optimistic for thinking about 16 weeks time line.

Regards

thank you indira, arasah and shalom! i am so overwhelmed with your prompt response. my visa office is manila. according to the requirement of the VO, a notarized copy of the transcript is accepted, however, i have requested a transcript from my school for the purpose of visa application. in any way, i won't be needing the original form because it is merely for canada visa application as it is stated in the purpose.so i decided to just submit to the VO the original transcript. on the other hand, i'm still confused with the fee payment form. i don't know if all VO have the same form. it is written in the form: SEPARATE PAYMENT IS REQUIRED FOR EACH APPLICATION.what i did was i separately filled up forms for me, my spouse and my daughter. i have not submitted my application yet, that is why i am making sure that i am doing the right thing. i need more opinion to enlighten me with this. thank you!

SEPARATE PAYMENT IS REQUIRED FOR EACH APPLICATION and not each applicant. There you go! In this context, all three of you are applicants included in the same application. So, just 1 form Smiley
